how do you know that ? the concept is brilliant - if this takes off and I accept that it may never - it will do so very quickly - medium sized companies SME s do NOT wish to accumulate debt - by using SYME the companies can become more efficient and profitable ...the example AZ gave some time ago of the wine merchant is brilliant - lots of wine lying around can be monetised in order to fund new forms of marketing the product for example
It is clear to me and has always been that TF and Syme are different animals. They would never necessarily work synonymously. Especially in that their respective heads are both very strongheaded people. I think what has happened is that they have decided that each respectively have their own idea of how the future will pan out for their respective business interests. SYME will have more money once TF is sold back. They may then be in a stronger position to progress the business in terms of funding and further IMs and also white label. I think a few more months and this will begin to take off. I have 42.7 million shares and I will be delighted when the SP gets to 1p. That said I will even more delighted when it gets £1. This will take around 3-4 years in my humble opinion. I have always been impatient in the past and I have regretted. I am here to stay.
Dear All,
I still hold 68.3 million shares with an average of around 0.06 ish. I have absolutely no idea of where this is going so in one sense it is a mad gamble. However, I have attended meetings and have watched the CEO with care. He is as courageous as he is ambitious as he is hardworking. He has changed or even matured since his early rants ..perhaps he has learned the hard way .................this is in essence an innovation ...one ..much like the way paypal changed the world could change the method of medium to large sized businesses achieving capital injections when they most need it. My experience tells me that this will either be a game changer in time and I will make a fortune or alternatively a dead loss.
I am still of the view that Syme will become a new way of raising capital ...........the first IM was a necessary stage but now we move to the next phase which is the real engines turning - multiples IM s happening and lenders having more and more trust in the platform and what it can achieve .... I am also a realist and this may take a very very long time
I am waiting ...calmly and patiently ...I see enough dramas in court for any more
boom or bust
JL
I truly believe this is the floor
GLA
thats great news !
Hi All,
I'm relatively new here with just over 10 k shares with average around 624 - so a few less than Mr Ashley ....I'm trying to understand what's happening here .. a takeover by Fraser Group or a merger? in the former instance would that not mean the SP would improve ? Are we also not in a very bad way in terms of global economy - hopefully that will improve also (?) I am hoping to see 1200 by Jan - any views ?
Dear All,
Looking back to 2020 and when the company de-listed itself (quite properly) for accounting and regulatory matters, being invested in Syme has been a bit of a roller-coaster ride for me. I have also been victim to abuse and unnecessary rudeness/aggression from certain individuals who shall remain nameless. I have sold and bought back due to moments of weakness. My current holding is just over 100 mill. I am finally feeling a sense of relief about the future of SYME ...instead of "hot air" we have now seen tangible progress ie first IM, real lending on due diligence and very substantial pipeline (329 m). All of this re-assures me. I am however of the view that this is a slow burn and not a rocket. People trade it all the time and I have even done so myself and am guilty. I am excitied about the future of the group.
I have fallen in and out of love with Syme for a very long time ...My holding has reduced and I have lost money - I now have 72 million shares with an average of 0.83 ish - I can hand on heart say with confidence having felt the pulse of this company that it has turned a corner ...there has now been real and tangible progress ... I am confident this is a milestone
could not resist bought 10 k more so now have 32 mill approx ....hence a great holding for me ......the potential here us massive ...............can see an SP potential of 3p by June next year ....Bernie sounded "quietly confident"....but very very relaxed....
I have 28.3 million shares ...very happy to be in this with a decent holding .... there is something very exciting in the pipeline I am sure of it ....possibly and buyout but more likely a team venture or even KOD going it alone in development ...it would be a massive resource for any large company or companies ...its the future after all ...only a matter of time now ..the way Bernie was talking was essentially look we have v exciting news but we cannot say yet ..thats how i read it
JL
I've been in and out of this since before it went into suspension - no matter the news it does nothing ...................i will wait until it goes to .071 and buy again with same amount
I wonder who just sold 91 million odd shares ? me maybe ......
With a smaller amount of capital investment 565 million in 4 years - getting there by the day ......not selling now for cashing in - we need to carry on with more and more upside in the developments -focus is LAGUNI with smaller emphasis on gold projects ...dividends will happen when we are up and running " I would love a divident"!!!
There are several bids and offers on the table .... clearly KODAL has a unique resource which is also very high in demand DNS and Laguni project ..are BIG main focus "we have completed all our obligations for LAGUNI WEST" - in early stage as there is a significant cover masking the geology -work is being done ...it is a second priority .....in terms of selling LAGUNI - we have considered selling BUT we have a high valuation in mind - we have had people approach us and WE are able to provide a better value to shareholder ....a sale might get a sugar rush ..but the longer term position is BETTER MOVING towards a DEVELOPMENT
This is going in the right direction - lots of exciting news to come ....honesty is best policy ...financing is always a difficult thing to complete - there are multiple people being talked to - it is a great opportunity for the company to move it along long terms - necessary agreements are being looked - due diligence needs to be done - but not being rushed - cannot be !! bids are on the table ..this is going UP
Hi All - I bought 19005 shares last week .... I have been waiting and watching .... ASOS in my opinion has a great future - even my wife buys from the company ....the returns fee at BOOHOO - is no good apparently
I bought back in just under 25 k worth with average of around 0.0765 ish .... this is enough for me me for now ...
I see the beans n chips brigade are back lol !!! banging angrily on their keyboards throwing what they can at whoever they can and as often as they can ....fallen from grace or not !!!! looool I'll stick to being a barrister me thinks looool
I had 141.7 million shares and now have around 55 million - too much stress for me atm ..... big decision and I have lost money but sometimes we have to make big decisions for all sorts of reasons. 55 million shares is enough !
indeed I remember back in the day when 16 million was enough - I am still hopeful but needed to make this adjustment for my well being
Good Luck ALL
So let us not lose sight of the fact that the company is striving to achieve a service which is on a global .....the trial is with a Global Manufacturer - could be Fiat ...we simply do not know ....the point is nothing ventured and nothing gained - I have learned the hard way .... i e act in haste and repent at leisure .. this, in my view exactly the time to hold ..........this could be a life changer thats all I know
Good Luck :)
