I certainly don’t think we’ll hit commercial oil in all the horizons, nor do I think we’ll be pumping 100k bopd. Hopefully we manage to get some oil to the surface though it’s been a long time coming.

On a serious note though, I'm delighted we have secured a solid rig with a good track record in Alaska. It hasn't been too long since its last run out either. Lets hope this time we get the rub of the green, I have had a bottle of celebratory Icewine festering in my fridge for a mighty long time now and Charlie-1 could well be the catalyst for me opening it :)

If we are talking about chance of success we are talking commercial flows of oil. This is not a science well it’s an appraisal well. We should certainly have a chance of success from DW at some point. The statement “ I think COS Q1 2020 is pretty much as high as you can get on a drill” is ridiculous.

Bridge - the 2020 drill will do a micro stimulation and attempt to flow the well (hence ‘appraising’ the well). The only reason they won’t flow the well in 1Q20 is if no oil is encountered. If the well demonstrates not only oil in place but movable hydrocarbons then they will return and do a horizontal in 2021, likely to be from the same wellbore.

Maybe DW will furnish us with a CoS soon, I’m pretty sure PMO didn’t stump up 23m over that arduous FO process without putting a percentage on success. Perhaps we may also find out what’s going on at Yukon at some point after those conversations he started months ago. SP flat as a witches tit at the moment. Dull.

It’s pretty obvious CO has dumped as UJO will undoubtedly need to raise more funds to keep up with RBD. How else are they going to fund their share of WNB, WNB2, wressle, bisc etc. There will be a point to buy in lower and he obviously knows it!
