Redleader 1 - fully aware of the results due out this week. But in the two recent interviews from both CEOs, late last year and with GH on the 16th January this month he stated he was awaiting "a maiden resource within the next 6 - 8 months" Check out the BRR media interview with him.

I know this has been discussed before but why would Newcrest buy out HAV or GGP in totality, why wouldn't they just see out the farm in for $65 million and 70% and the option of a further 5% at market value?
What are the advantages for Newcrest to buy out HAV before then?

One thing to note with all these estimates of how much potential gold is in HAV, is the added bonus of the copper finds. Be intersting to understand in due course how much the copper can add to the overall value of HAV.

With a large piece of news expected before the end of the year, is there any particular order of news? As in, first up DFS, then binding agreement and finance?

Fair play to management raising this amount to a premium of 60% + to the previous funding round. Onwards!

kieffy - I hope you are right with your 17p valuation. That would value the company at circa GBP600 million. So HAV would have to be worth about USD 2.5 billion - given our 30% - thats alot of gold!

Is their case that on an example they announce a resourse of circa USD1 billion - giving us 300 million - but in the hype, the market could send the share price much higher than the value of the resource, before dropping back to more realistic value? Thoughts? Is solg a good example of that?
