Paddy, is it fair to assume, this "Rio" campaign is using one drilling rig?
Best of luck to the crew attending the AGM. A look at the agenda once more just now, it really is IMHO a very confident and bullish meeting. Defined by 3 Q&A sessions and meet the team over lunch. They want to engage! Hope the attendees get to submit some great questions and receive some nuggets to take away.
Hope the bourbon creams are just as good too!
Thornogson, you may go on about its costing money, of course it is. Nothing is free, but at least acknowledge the work that is being done by Avacta to try and help these brave patients take part in the trials. If you cannot support this, then this is extremely sad. All of us have been affected by this disease is some way. Be good for once and acknowledge what Avacta is trying to achieve - put your funding agenda to one side for once.
Afternoon all, its been a while.
Are Newcrest only reporting drill results on a quarterly basis from now on, as I didn't receive my usual Newcrest investor relations email.
So next quarterly update, end of July then, correct?
A company with $6.8million in revenues for 2022 with good clinical results sells for $10.8billion! Unless am missing something we are surely missing out being on AIM and not Nasdaq! Views welcome.
Thanks BB - appreciate the feedback. I for one have been here for a long long time, happy to wait to extract max. value.
if you were offered 30p a share tomorrow, would you take it?
Wyn, have a day off or two. Take a holiday, you're absolutely obsessed with this board.
Was an analyst yesterday not talking in the region of NCM's stake of Havand Telfer being worth $1.9billion, and we see that as being undervalued. In my opinion that is a stretch to far to finance, no? We grow through an organic approach and more importantly the "drill bit." (Possible smaller acquisitions maybe available)
Absolutely, sooner rather later, hopefully.
Thanks to Paddy and one of his tweets earlier today, referring to an article behind a paywall. An analyst was sharing that if Newcrest was to fight off this advance, it may look to off load some non core assets. He valued Telfer and Hav maybe worth upto $1.9billion. I would be hoping their 70% stake and the plant is worth a lot more than that. Maybe Newcrest will start releasing more unto date info to boast how large HAV really is.
For the sake of this board, and people's state of health, I really hope we get some news very soon to break up the squabbling. So childish and boring.
you're right Cul - just listened it to again. top of the ore then by "early" 2023 - first ore out at best before the end of the year or early 2024 as per previous narrative. I would like to think they are going down the under promise over deliver timelines. Let's see.
But Tom - how can we even think about ore coming out by the end of Q1 which I would say is early 2023, as we are not even due to hit the top of the ore until at the very earliest June/July next year. Am no mining expert but I don't believe they can simply start extracting once they reach it. I think it was just a slip by Shaun. Realistically and even optimistically if decline continues to speed up I think Q4 2023 is a possibility.
I think this is clearly a mistake by SD - he surely must mean early 2024 and not 2023 for early ore.
sorry - check out 11 minutes in.
totally agree jive. For all LTH and new investors. - the link below - Q&A with Vox at the beginning of the trial last year - is 20 minutes worth watching once again. CEO and CEO explain not only the importance of the safety and tolerability of the dose escalation phase but selecting what is the best dosage to be taken into the "expansion" phase of the trial. Neil Bell explains that it will either be the MTD or the recommended dose for phase 2. So potentially MTD may not be required at this stage. Check out 11 minutes for his comment. GLA

Noted WF for July 2023.
I think we are on the same page WelshFalcon!
I do feel that we have turned a corner with some negative sentiment between GGP and NCM, although sometimes you can be influenced by this board and twitter. Never the less I am very positive that the FS has been delayed to "maximise value and de-risk the project". That's more like the narrative we have been use to over the last 36 months. Telfer is bleeding especially the reported quarter just out, I think Sandeep wants a "wow" FS to assure his shareholders, "don't worry we have HAV to feed a hungry Telfer". The FS may also include more definitive mining plans as he can see this ore body is growing and growing and now linking up. (BTW am no expert on mining options!) So in summary show the market how impressive HAV is, and reassure key stakeholders NCM is providing solutions to rising AISC across the portfolio. GLA.
