Summary:

My ball park profit estimates once in full production (at todays Ore Prices \~$140/t for 65% FE)

Net Profit $43.82/t x 5.3m = $232.25m (£171.64m) x 27% = $62.7m to Cadence per year (£46.34m)

P/E 8 = £370m valuation = >£2/share (Just for Amapa)

I estimate the current value of the 27% stake assuming full steady state production is reached on an NPV8 basis to be £344m obviously this will vary enormously depending on shipping, ore prices and any potential equity raises needed to fund construction.

My short term price target range of **60-80p** is based on the market realising the potential of the assets and applying a 75% discount risk factor to my NPV8 figure of £344m and adding in my low end valuations of the other assets.

My long term target of **130p** is based on applying a 50% discount to my NPV8 value of the 27% ownership of the Amapa Mine as it moves towards production and adding in my low end valuations of the other assets, I believe this is a conservative valuation. I have also considered what the assets could sell for if a bidder were to make an offer for the company.

My bull case with a strong iron ore market and successful execution at Amapa and extraction of maximum value is from the JV arrangements and public holdings is in excess of **300p** (£465M). It is extremely difficult to estimate with any precision due to many moving parts including commodity prices, however worth bearing in mind the prior valuations of Amapa ($1.2bn) - 27% of which would be £239m, the 49% ownership £439M, lithium now at $40k/t and potential values of EMH and Sonora if held to full production.
