The last time Angus predicted 12p it shot up to 40p the following week - we can all make guesses based upon historical events - don't get too greedy- there is a company behind this share price you know, one which is using the placing to add value at a time when oil will be very much in demand. This is a busy board because peeps know the potential here. GLA
Received letters from iii and Fidelity, nothing from HL. Letters stated I should be able to trade from “on or after” the 26th. Can’t trade from any of them - whole situation has been poorly handled. Not to bothered as I’ll ride the wave and hopefully see a return north of where we are but it would be nice to have an option :-(
Best post I've seen for a while JTD. I echo your comments. To come on a board and rubbish a company after ramping it days before is the lowest form - its pretty obvious their objectives - each to their own but its not the way to conduct yourself. A lot of good people here just looking to make some money and better their life - the trolling is uncalled for. GLA
On thing for sure is, he isn’t a leader! His ego is his biggest Achilles heel, I think he thinks he can do it on his own which fills me with dread. They’ll be no JV, no one could work with him. It’s either a buyout or it’s Arts show. The man doesn’t do what’s best for the business - it’s all about him. He needs the market on side, he needs banks on side, he needs shareholders on side- the market hates uncertainty and it will punish you if you don’t show transparency. On paper this is a no brainer, reality is, it’s anything but. I hope I’m wrong!
I'm lost for words - I don't know how one man can get it so wrong! What a $hit show. He needs to go, this is incompetence of the highest degree. The company has the potential to be huge but the man at the top is not fit for purpose - let him do his oil thing and bring in a proper CEO (and can we also get a proper detailed financial statement in the RNS feed - having to go to Sedar for detail is not on! )
Agree. This is the start of a transformational year - anyone in business knows that it takes time to build, the ducks are starting to align - CUDA looks as if its in the bag and then we have the little problem of extracting billions of barrels of light oil - in the current climate its hugely exciting. Yes, there will be a cost but the upside will far outweigh any cost. Soak up the sells this morning and sit and wait on this baby bearing fruit. GLA
Sad news. I must have bought in just after his absence but given the lovely messages here, he was obviously a man well respected and held in high esteem. At the end of the day we’re all here to make a little money, to make life that little bit easier but on the scale of things there’s far more important things in life so if you can spend precious time with your loved ones it’s worth more than any share. RIP
Shut up you absolutely twat. Most people here have got successful careers where they don’t feel the need to post drivel all day - you on the other hand choose to post message upon message of negativity on a share you purport to be invested in - of course, in a way of delivering objectivity and balance. Anyone with any form of self respect wouldn’t spend their time on here posting like you do, and now your boyfriends have turned up to help you out, you’re starting to ramp it up,lol. You really are one sad individual. Feel sorry for you, what a sad life you lead Iron.
I can see the board has degenerated into a school yard again. A couple of posters who I thought knew their onions are showing themselves up once the clowns arrive also.
Vast majority here are decent, so green boxes again for the few - their vitriol and sillyness is not worth any bandwidth. GLA genuine holders.
Not a big advocate of having to tell the world how well you're doing - smells of desperation in my book. Let the P&L do the talking. This will move when it's right to move and not because of some shameful PR to suit short term traders.
Great RNS from the BP board this morning - only a relatively small loss to be absorbed and it won't impact profits. Strength from their board which gives confidence to the market. If they fancy some safe haven oil then I'm sure us Coplers can point them in a certain direction. GLA
They’re pretty much writing it off - it’s a fire sale, with all the sanctions, swift payment ban, etc Russia is a now a pariah state, only a few companies/countries will touch it and they know BP just want rid. I think it’s worth circa £14B I guarantee they drop more than 20% tomorrow. Not a holder but I’ll be watching with interest. I hope I’m wrong by the way, we need strength in the markets not more weakness.
