Hi TinyPie
I wish I new but sadly I don't.
I have bought at 49, 68 and 73 my average is 59.
If I sold tomorrow profit would be around £5.5k
I'm hoping in the long term and I mean in a few years, the price will be as per Stroll's pre-consolidation comment £3, £6, £7 or £9.
If the share grew over time to Stroll's bottom price 300p I'd then be looking at £85K profit....! fantastic
But is that realistically going to happen?
Can AML's share price rise from £15 to £60 (75p to 300p before consolidation) Stroll seems to think so (but me I'm not so sure)
That will depend on car sales between 2021 and 2025.
So what to do now. I'm at a crossroads do I hold out for the long term, do I sell a percentage now and hold the rest.
I don't know.
Advice please from the experts.
There are 4 main points:-
Points 1, 2 and 3 are happening now December 2020
Point 4 to happen early 2022 or maybe earlier (during 2021)
1) Admission of 224,657,287 Tranche 1 Shares to MBAG. Which represents a share dilution of 11%
2) Placing of 250,000,000 Shares to the premium listing segment. Which represents a share dilution of 12.1%
3) Consolidation of shares 20:1 No. of Shares before 2,298,671,737/20 = Shares after consolidation 114,933,587
4) Further issue of up to 234,285,457 shares to MBAG during 2022 or earlier which represents a further share dilution of 9.2%
Maximum shares available to MBAG is 458,942,744
(458,942,744 - 224, 657,287 Tranche 1 = 234,285,457 available to MBAG in 2022)
No. of shares BEFORE 1,824,014,450
No. of shares AFTER points 1 & 2 2,298,671,737 (which represents a share dilution of 20.6%)
No. of shares AFTER 20:1 Consolidation 2,298,671,737/20 = 114,933,587
FYI the 250,000,000 placing are to be distributed as follows :-
40,000,000 Yew tree
60,000,000 Zelon
66,666,667 Permian
83,333,333 Institutional placees

PS I'm no expert (I'm still learning) all info taken from the 203 page Prospectus.
I'm a long term AML holder.
Above is my understanding.
To the experts out there, please correct me If I have misunderstood the prospectus.

Thanks learningtoinvest. I'm just being a bit cautious, my exit and entry points on previous shares holdings (not Lloyds) have not been the best. Yes ,I've read some earlier posts about the dividend's that's a very good point.
I'm a medium to long term holder. At the end of the day "you have to be in it to win it".
Hi All I've been following this board for a few months now and was about to invest, on the day the first vaccine news came out, the price shot up (good news for all you holders). Am I to late to join? have I missed the boat?
GLA
Thanks 3300.
Does that mean Pre Market is only available on certain EPICS. Wasn't aware of that.
Not that I've trade on US stocks (yet), it seems Pre Market and After Hours is a big thing over the pond. For Gap-up, Gap-down opportunities.
In the thread 'Morning' yesterday (Saturday) Pau10z mentioned looking at Pre Market.
I'm aware that LSE has Pre Market between 7:50 and 8:00 but how do you view the prices during this time period.
I'm with Interactive Brokers and have Level 2 but don't see any price movements until 8:00.
So my question is how do you view price movements during Pre Market on LSE?
I'm a LTH of AML

@advocate
Thanks for the info.
Why does it feel better to have 35,000 shares at 80p
Than it does to have 1,750 shares at 1600p
It feels easier for an 80p share to become a 160p share
than a 1600p share become 3200p
I thought after the Q3 results the SP was going to gravitate towards 62p and then stay around that level for MB to buy their last 7.5% slice at 62p. If the price was above 62p then AML would pay the difference to MB. Is that right or did I misunderstand it. When do MB purchase their last slice? is that when the price will magically converge towards 62p.
P911 don't worry if consolidation happens your holding "value" will remain the same.
Example of a Reverse Stock Split
A company has ten million outstanding shares in the market which are trading at a price of 50p per share. As the share price is low, the company management may wish to artificially inflate the per share price.
They decide to go for the 1-for-5 reverse stock split, which essentially means merging five existing shares into one new share. Once the corporate action exercise is over, the company will have (10 million / 5) 2 million new shares, with each share now costing (50p * 5) 250p each.
The proportionate change in share price also supports the fact that the company has not created any real value simply by performing the reverse stock split. Its overall value, represented by market capitalization, before and after the corporate action should remain the same.
Info on Consolidation
Reverse Splits
A reverse split is initiated by a firm’s management, and affects stock trading in the secondary market – on stock exchanges. Holders of record are notified of the consolidation, which is mandatory. Shareholders have no ability to refuse a reverse split, except perhaps to vote out current management. Of course, shareholders can sell their stock before the split if they so choose.
Increasing Share Prices
Reverse splits are often undertaken to increase a firm’s share price. One motivation is that stock exchanges have minimum share prices – if a stock price falls below the minimum price, the shares can be delisted. Delisting raises the cost of capital to a firm by making it harder to raise equity capital. Another motivation is the “respectability” factor – a low share price is considered a sign of weakness by investors, who may tend to avoid the shares. By consolidating shares, the price of each new share is proportionately higher than the old cancelled shares.
I like the Trades information on sharesmagazine.co.uk but with the free account the prices are delayed 15 minutes. Yes I could subscribe but I'm already subscribing for various others feeds and don't want to subscribe to something else. Are there any FREE live Trade prices out there without a time delay.
Shares in issue 1824 M
Prestige Motor Holdings had 7.14% = 130.23 M shares.
Now they have 4.12% = 75.15 M
They have reduced their position by 3.02% = 55.08 M
Threshold crossed or reached 19th August and it was reported today.
So, does this mean all 55.08 M shares were sold by Wednesday 19th August.
Or do we still have more selling to come on Monday ?
