Eco - good buy in this way?-NO12 Mar 2019 08:57
HI Phoebus - many thanks for your help and you are right. The Africa OIl bit was t5hat I have tried to get help in valuing its assets against its share price. It sits at $ Canadian 1.08 . When I look at the fact it has 30% of Impact Oil, 34.6% of Africa energy, 19% of Eco., 49% of Main Street which has 10% interest in Block 11B/12B ( with recent discovery),had cash as at last November of 380m, has 12.5% of producing fields in Nigeria with ?Vitol, 25% interest in Blocks 10BB and 13T in kenya , oil in ground kenya, lots of exploration Blocks Africa , etc . Yet its share price appears so low and as if it is deliberately kept that way. The cross holdings of shares and interests amongst these companies is quite intriguing.. Keith Hill sits on all the boards and seems to be building investments worth far more than AOPI price- but again maybe I am wrong. However it does not seem a share to invest in as it seems so price controlled somehow? Any advice or help to unravel would be great . Many Thanks dellfrog
