For your information Iandmy partners founded and built the largest M and E quantity surveyors in the world and were involved in nearly every massive redevelopment in London and many worldwide including Piper and Claymore and buildings of every sort. If the events that happened here had taken place on a construction site of ours and it was there would have been massive repercussions and financial compensation, If you think IOG have done well then it is you that has poor judgment. Hi Mole- I think its because they are using contracts for difference. If you know the price is going to drop because of your sells that encourage other sells too. You make a fortune on Cds which you take out when the price is at 40 and option to sell at 38 and immediately cash in and of course can buy back your original sales cheaper too. So you are back to square one with your CD gains extra. Its been repeated time and time again and not illegal. It may well be a group are doing it and are quids in on the CDs. because its an aim share they ask for a large deposit on the CD but that is irrelevant if you know you are going to create the fall that you have backed in the CD. It all stinks to my mind. AS to IOG they are useless at management and they should have the big fat bonuses they gave them selves outlawed. I really hope they get taken over as they have cost us shareholders MILLONS Best wishes to all .

CAN I ASK IF SUCH THINGS AS DEFECTS LIABILITY PERIODS ARE USED IN CONTRACTS FOR THE OIL INDUSTRY. iN BUILDING WORK DEFECTS LIABILITY IS USUALLY AT LEAT 12 MONTHS AND RETENTION MONEY IS HELD UNTIL ENDS OF DEFECT LIABILITY AND THINGS HAVE BEEN PIUT RIGHT. HI Every seller must have a buyer but here the seller and the buyer are in fact eventually the same. The seller having created the contract for difference makes his money on that CD as he sells his shares on the market, he then cashes in his CD and buys back his hares at the lower price. This all takes place in a very short space of time. if you look at the rather large chunks that are shown as sells or as unknowns it seems to stack up and that it could easily happen not using millions of shares just hundred thousands. I really believe something on these lines is happening as sales appeared instantly we hit 40 and then at the end of the day they recovered . Maybe it was just wise investors recognising under 40 was a good buying opportunity but as soon as 40 was hit a big seller started selling again. No announcements about change of holdings which was strange and left us all wondering who was selling or were they selling and they selling and buying back after cashing in the CD. HI all - I have raised this subject before regarding MMs nonsense etc but I still cannot fatjhom mout why what i am suggesting is happening is untrue. If I had millions of shares available to sell and i know that in selling á few million that the price will drop and indeed i can protect myself by selling even more if it does not drop enough . and before selling I place a contract for difference on a larger quantiy based on that price drop that i can create , surely I make a good return and in fact if i want buy back a lot of the quantity I sold in the first place at that lower price and in fact get back to reqaining my original holding and do it over and over again. Sure there are a very short term finance costs on the CD but if I am making a few pence per share on a few million shares ............Please can someone tell me why this cannot work. Sure it may have to be at arks length and in collusion with others but could this be happening at IOG ? Best wishes to all and sorry tom bother you all.

Nobody has answered the question re shorting. In effect a multi million shareholder knowingly to creat a fall and at arms length or not shorting at a far cheaper price an hence greater quantity can make a fortune and then wit that gain and the money from the sale in the first place is in a position to buy a greater number of shares back at a cheaper price and end up with even a larger holding to do the same thing over and over again. Who lose out the PI of course as a realistic share price is never achieved. Am I just imagining this or does it happen? Who in fact monitors this on Aim? I hope someone can convince me that this is not possible as I cannot find why not. Best wishes to all

So if you are a big holder of IOG and know you can sell almost unlimited number of million shares and cause a big drop in price, what is stopping that seller organising ( at arms length) buying a very large short in IOG where many more millions can be financed far cheaper and a massive profit made? Am I being unrealistic or does and can this happen ? .My next question is , has this happened and how can it be stopped and monitored? Kind regards and best wishes

Just look at share deals from 8.11 am to 2.11 pm . One solid mass of blues with just two reds and you do not think MMs play games. they are a law until themselves on AIM it seems. best wishes to all

It seems the MMs are determined to keep price below 140p. This despite a confirmation of some 1.2 billion barrels of oil at least. WAY WAY UNDERPRICED NOW , they probably want to shake the trees for the big boys. GOOD LUCKTO ALL

So the price goes up a few per cent for about 250000 buys but then drops double that for the same 250000 sales . They should be investigated as we get conned all the time. Do they shake the trees for the big boys ,sure looks like it . We need to demand correct buy and sell reporting and not guessing according to price! Best wishes

I do wonder why the reductions in reserves were not reported in an earlier RNS as surely they should have been. They have not just occurred. Having read thise self praising bulletin again I reckon there will be a lot of profit taking and frankly disappointment in the unanswered questions raised by shareholders. It seems IOG think that now having first gas the pastcanbe forgotten and we can even make our pie trough bigger! Pity we minorities can't vote it down . I just hope someone takes us over and realises the real potential without the delays . Disappointing to see drops in bcf estimates at so many sites. No details regarding Southwark insurance and to say Southwark gas will be 3rd quarter which after all is a 3month period and only 6 months away is frankly a pathetic statement and surely thet have a programmed date as against anytime in 3 months of just a 6 month period. Sure they have reached first gas but far later than planned with no explanations for the delays at Bacton . And we now also have more feed to put in the pig trough with more incentives despite the past failures that lost millions of pounds . However one has to stick with IOG as a solid investment IMO. Management is self praising and must do better but it does not even admit that it ****ed up a lot. Great news gas is flowing but remember it is very late and millions of pounds dearer! So we have a great rns saying gas flowing both fields and they show a 5 percent drop in price. Unbelievable to my mind and frankly needs investigating be cause it looks as if these prices are being rigged for someones benefit ,no doubt the big buyers.
