High-grade iron ore mineralization should benefit Macarthur
Macarthur has completed extensive exploration activities at its iron ore project to meet
the emerging demand of the global high-grade iron ore market with over $61m invested
to date. The Company£s iron ore projects namely Ularring Hematite and Moonshine
Magnetite have proven mineral resources in the Kalgoorlie region, Western Australia.
The Company£s Ularring Hematite iron ore project has an Indicated Mineral Resource
of 54.46 million metric tons at 47.2% iron (Fe) and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 26
million metric tons at 45.4% Fe. The Moonshine Magnetite iron ore project has an
Inferred Mineral Resources of 1.31 billion metric tons at 30.1% Fe. Further, in August
2012 and revised in January 2014, a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) conducted at
the Ularring Hematite project area revealed an attractive Net Present Value (NPV) of
$456 million. The pre-tax internal rate of return of the project is projected to be 57%,
with a payback period of three years. In addition, a scoping study at the Moonshine iron
ore project also revealed an appealing NPV of $2.65 billion, with a payback period of
3.62-3.95 years. The next step is development driven through access to existing
mining, processing, rail and port infrastructure adjacent to the Macarthur£s Ularring, and
Moonshine Projects. The unique access to third-party, soon to be redundant transport
and export infrastructure avoids many millions of dollars required to build such
infrastructure. This very much changes the project economics and is a significant
value-add for the Company.

The potential rail and port capacity in this region makes Macarthur’s historic ~A$61million investment in resource definition, environmental assessment, metallurgical, economic studies and permitting of the hematite and magnetite iron ore projects very valuable. Macarthur has been holding on to these projects waiting for a stabilisation of the iron ore commodity pricing and an upswing in major mining investment sentiment.

Since beginning of August AOU has issued postive news on three occasions and MMS four. All news can be read on KDNC website.

PS gives prices "Spot prices have declined from around $20,000/t to $15,000/t and contract prices from $15,000/t to around 12,500/t. It is not anticipated that prices will firm until increasing demand from the cathode manufacturers picks up in Q1, 2019."
The NPV of $1.25billion is based on $11,000, and this is well supported by aboce prices.

The NPV of $540m was based on lithium price of $10000 and only 9.9% of resource. The update on Sept 4th advised that lithium hydroxide would be produced and that has a higher value than lithium carbonate. The NPV for the whole resource must be $1bilion plus.

Clancy Exploration Limited (“Clancy Exploration”)
In September 2017 Cadence announced that Clancy’s investigations into its tenure determined that there were 28
overlapping licences out of Clancy's 200 licences that were preceding priority claimants ('Preceding Claims'). These
Preceding Claims cover a total area of approximately 12km2 and included the historical Nockelberg and Leogang
mines. Clancy continues to have priority over the balance of the project area, being 172 licences covering
approximately 68km2 ('Remaining Licenses').
Prior to the investigations, Cadence acquired a 10% interest (refer to ASX release dated 3 July 2017) in all 200 licences
held by Clancy, and the parties entered into a joint venture. Cadence was subsequently made aware of the licensing
situation and we agreed with Clancy to continue to evaluate the Remaining Licenses, in which Cadence holds 10%.
Furthermore. the board of Clancy, in discussions with Cadence, have considered it appropriate to issue Cadence
140,000,000 fully paid ordinary shares at a deemed price of $0.003 ('Clancy Shares') as compensation for the discovery
of third party priority over the 28 overlapping licenses (including the historical Nockelberg and Leogang mines).
