Cadence Minerals provided an update on its flagship Amapa iron ore project this
week. The company is conducting an operating cost and capital requirement
review, which it feels is likely to lead to greater project economics. The review
is nearing completion. The current works are also expected to reveal a higher
quality iron ore product than previously thought. Cadence Minerals published a
PFS in 2023 with a $949 million net present value
This isn't just substantial progress. #KDNC
@CadenceMinerals
is one of the most bafflingly undervalued companies on AIM.
@edisonresearch
valued Cadence's Amapa asset at approx £15.5m (23p) alone in November 2023. Today's update all but connects all the remaining pieces to bring Amapa back into production. And that's without #Cinovec #lithium #EMH stake, Sonora lithium assets, @evergreen_eg1 holding etc. Do the math.

Our continued engagement with the government of Amapa is an integral part of the restart of the Amapa Iron Ore project. In late January, we held several key strategic meetings with government secretaries, Vice Governor Antonio Pinheiro Teles, Governor Clécio Luís and the Senator for Amapa Davi Samuel Alcolumbre. These strategic meetings, alongside our regular government meetings, form part of our continual social and community engagement programme.
For the residents, businesses and shareholders of Amapa, this means real, tangible benefits. Listening to and working with your government and its leaders will create opportunities for job growth, infrastructure advancements, and long-term economic stability. Restarting the Amapa Iron Mine isn't just about the industry—it's about nurturing prosperity for everyone in this vibrant community for the long term and sustainably.
Maddog, Bannor . Mr Cautious and other negative posters. Would you buy shares in this company after reading your posts?
You constantly undermine share price. I do think Lenigas was a ramper but I have met, and had telephone conversations, with Kiran and I find him straightforward and honest. I have also spoken several times to the researcher at Irelands and have found him the same. I would stress that neither of them gave me any confidential information. Last year there was a corporate update in March so perhaps news soon.
