All the tobacco stocks are oversold following this news though the timing is not great for BAT a day after increasing its exposure to the US. Some might say this is positive in the long run for tobacco companies. If nicotine is lowered for smoked cigarettes it will push people to either smoke more cigarettes (to get their nicotine hit) or possibly take up alternative next generation products such as VYPE or Glo in the case of BAT, or iqos for Phillip Morris. The latter "heat not burn" products already have 15% market share in Japan and will be available in the US soon I'm sure. Good luck all.

patience is key here. we known 16 is the bottom on no news but the upside is way beyond 20 so silly to sell now.

we should see a re-rate by middle of year so patience is the key which is hard when I'm in other shares that are going stellar (EVRH)
