Gold is up over $2600, gold futures are up more. Hum’s production ramp up continues.

Nothing goes up in a straight line but with interest rates coming down and inflation set to rocket (central banks can’t keep a lid on inflation and are going to have to let it run white hot, the price of everything will go crazy). Shares in gold mining companies that have production will go even crazier.

It’s obvious, we need to save costs; why not remove the Managing Director?. So who’s in charge? Dunno! The market didn’t like that decision.

Hummingbird is the one to watch. Rising production to full capacity on HUM’s flagship gold mine gives the share price acres of room to re-rate and everybody loves to join a rising trend.

Gold’s batting average is rising fast, currently at $2,588 with no signs of stopping anytime soon. The money supply has been out of control for decades and gold is simply catching up.

They all have Individual Linkedin pages and a company page. But don't use them. Whats the point in that, it’s a if they’re sticking two fingers up at the LinkedIn community.

Hum are continuing to ramp up. Hopefully they should issue monthly production rates for the duration of the ramp up period.

Fist half of 2024 production 48,000

Second half production guidance is 72,000 to 103,000.

I’d call that pretty good.

The market sounds like Oliver Twist wanting more.

Shareholders might want to buy more at these prices.

There will be no I uplift. Your last paragraph confirms it. The company says and i Quote “So the stock market response to news will be somewhat irrelevant”.

PRD are waiting for things further down the line.

I’ve sold my entire share holding this afternoon.

Will all the faithfully sitting in the background buy more shares on news. No, they have invested and are waiting for their pay day so you can’t rely on them to lift the share price. PRD hasn’t got a following of undecided’s ready to buy in if the price rises so you can rule them out too. Institutional investor's, no, the company’s not big enough. ISA portfolio investors, no, it doesn’t produce dividends so you can rule them out too. People who are wanting to make a quick buck will exit as soon as to share price lifts 10% so you can rule those out too. The company directors,no, they get theirs in mega cheap share options so you can rule them out too.

Because the company won’t build a story and a following by communication it’s only relying on its results that don't come very often. The company and its faithful will still be here wondering why and blaming the markets for the share price going nowhere.

All these lovely, fewer and fewer posters with fantastic knowledge, the faithful, will count for nothing. They can’t lift your share price, you need to build a following. There are things like social media, LinkedIn, Facebook etc, ooo and there is always that old dependable called an RNS.
