'Another' acquisition soon???...

Well....At the very start of the year I would have said £2! But with everything that has happened.. i would settle for 150. I think they are building the company up very nicely and one day not to far away the Americans/Chinese will come knocking.

Interesting read from the IMI magazine..... Following Group 1's acquisition of London-based Spire Automotive, there's an expectancy that US dealer groups will make further investments in the UK. There are several reasons to anticipate that more UK dealers groups could be takeover targets for US companies, not least a desire to lessen dependence on their domestic market and seek international expansion opportunities. In addition, the current strength of the US$ is making UK asserts appear remarkable cheap. As consolidation continues there will be plenty of opportunities for further acquisitions, with perhaps publicly-quoted groups such as Pendragon and Lookers, with quite modest stock market valuations of £552m and £602m respectively, becoming juicy targets

Plus a 'few' more acquisitions this year! 😉

Yes Great results! Lookers is so well run....so solid..other companies can only dream of having such a team!! The board need to congratulated. Onwards and upwards!!!
