I wonder if it's pure speculation/rebound sentiment.
Chesh,
Ooh, do share the news.
...because that's when the early-birds will start to take profits from the day's trading and sell off to regular folk.
Apply, are you this forum's administrator? And what gives you the right to bully or harass another member to leave the forum, whatever their opinions? If anyone should pipe down, it's the people trying to exclude others and stop freedom of speech.
FYI, many people are still interested in the project, and hearing news and discussing it, even if they aren't monetarily invested.
Is that on the elbows of your jackets, dodger?
Blue...patches?
Same story here, bud. I recommend you take a look at iH2O if you are turning to ETFs and haven't seen that one already.
... Looking for someone to blame
"You wanna know about the attendant risk with the shafts? I’d love to. Some of us might be forgiven for thinking we’d paid for ‘em already:"
That stinks. Worth putting that to IR, see how they explain it.
...you can still catch old episodes of that 80s series "Big Deal" on YouTube. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Deal_(TV_series)
Hey, maybe they're conspiring about something? Question is, who is conspiring, what are they conspiring to do, and how are they conspiring to do it?
What's your theory?
So many questions!
Max, I'm in the same boat as you. 77%/£15k or so down.
Your last paragraph is absolutely spot on. I find it highly debatable whether there is an overall positive value to society from this board outside of the formal communication/data about the business (eg. the LSE-generated content such as the RNS's).
Yes, sorry didn't mean you personally, or anyone else specifically - again, you can't know for certain.
I had a chat with, as it happens, an elderly but globally-respected concert pianist on the way back from London a few years ago, carried her bags for her onto the train. We talked a bit and she said something profound about internet anonymity which at the time I was shocked by, but that I've since found to be a very reasonable view - that internet anonymity, and the associated lack of any significant level of accountability, can cause huge issues for society and unnecessary harm to individuals.
Situations like this make me believe it should be removed on some or all public forums because of the sorts of things going on on LSE. Though I "do as the Romans do" on here, I don't find the suggestion that people should be prepared to declare their identity and prove it, or lose the privileges that go with information sharing and engagement online, unreasonable at all.
Fred, there are very obviously professional rampers and derampers on here. Nobody knows who is or isn't. What I do know from observing this board for many months is, however, that any apparently genuine scepticism or quite reasonably negative views are crowded out, bullied and shouted down with positivity and defiance most of the time.
Sailor, couple of questions - first, have you ever felt like you had to cut your losses for any reason, maybe because if you lost the lot, life wouldn't be worth living? And, second, do you understand the meaning of the word "empathy"?
I'm in a similar position, but just thought **** it when I got down over a 75% loss.
Bought ~19 pence average, sold at 4 and a bit pence at a ~£15k loss. Tough lesson. Tough, tough lesson. Haven't told the higher ups, too ashamed. Will take it to my grave.
KoH, wouldn't you rather have that lovely 20% back, rather than diddly-****?

I would add a "Do your own research" delivered with especially wide and suggestive eyes, and specifically that that "research" needs to be done wholly away from this potentially-biased (in all directions) BB.
Neil, Judge for yourself in the SP if there is a glimmer of hope.
Yes, there is a mere outlandish glimmer. All the info is in the public domain. Especially pertinent in the most recent announcements that weren't made clear and obvious before are the risks to the shaft. It may not be able to be dug, basically. Literally a shot in the dark.
Davie,
Myo....
