Yes, sorry didn't mean you personally, or anyone else specifically - again, you can't know for certain.
I had a chat with, as it happens, an elderly but globally-respected concert pianist on the way back from London a few years ago, carried her bags for her onto the train. We talked a bit and she said something profound about internet anonymity which at the time I was shocked by, but that I've since found to be a very reasonable view - that internet anonymity, and the associated lack of any significant level of accountability, can cause huge issues for society and unnecessary harm to individuals.
Situations like this make me believe it should be removed on some or all public forums because of the sorts of things going on on LSE. Though I "do as the Romans do" on here, I don't find the suggestion that people should be prepared to declare their identity and prove it, or lose the privileges that go with information sharing and engagement online, unreasonable at all.
