TIM CEOBy looking at the markrt cap Iassumed that the recent windfall would make an enormous difference to the company.Got very confused when I lookrd at last report 31.5.05which I DONT CLAIM TO FULLY UNDERSTAND but everything was in billions which made me think that the windfall may not be so sgnificant.Thanks Tim down again today

UGH maybe I assumed wrongly.I follow closely and twhen they were doing well they started to move as the US premarket opened and then noticably as US trading began.The first they ever dropped was the Friday before Jul 4 and then on Jul 4.Everything was ok untill the dollar started to fall against pound last week so maybe I put 2 and 2 together and got 5.You must know US law better than I BUT I have duel natioality and i do not live in UK.I had a difficult time registering with UK broker.I had to have UKbank acc. and visit UK consulate for ID and address verification.I have also traded US stocks through UKbroker,assumed it was the same for the other side of the pond.Hard question gambling stocks hope somebody can hep you further!Good luck!

cco thankyou everybody .Myidea now is ok alot of people got in at 10 20 30 40 and thought they had missed peak to sell.Maybe they saw them 10 per cent up this morning and without reading the news sold.Im hoping they will run another story and that well be left with the peple who paid more and then the ball can roll.Im only a begginer and appreciate all of your thoughts.Unfortunately or fortunately I paid 77 .Didnt assume they would go back to 4 or 8,00 but thought 1 or 2.oo

Does anyone know why the gambling stocks are down when there is only positive news and upgrades?PRTY I think the Americans love and thepound has been high for last 8 days. Have just read very intresting tip Mail online city tips and tactics.Found tip Gro.Co.Inv in June(shares had risen 50 p.c. since listing)Dont know what they are doing now.Not sure if SBT has finger in pie,or if it is astory that has been and gone or about to take off.Im intrigued and wonder if anybody has any views or comments.

HDD Were sold to me by reputable broker who advised me to hold for awhile(may) Analysts had thought that as soon as they were noticed they would be taken over by bodycote as they have always had the field to themselves.Asked my broker today if thetime was near and he said he could not comment.Really strange hes usually very open.Was suggested in Maythat if they got taken over it might be for abought 28 .Thanks GedW if you can find out anymore!

hi meurer couldnt find any news either. looks like a panic reaction similar to 7.7.05.used to work for big catering co aman died after his meal.caused big panic never hit news because it turned out he was ill anyway.maybe something similar
