Newbie, it all depends on your target price when you bought. Long term is the best policy as this will give great returns when everything is stabilised.

If your wanting short gains then exit in the winter but remember the planes still fly in winter and if a vaccine is created then these stocks will rocket and you would have taken a fraction of what you could have got!

Whatever you do GL, just don’t look back on it if you exit as you’ll get emotionally attached to the stock then make bad choices trying to re enter at the wrong levels.

Customer demand is always there. There are people wanting to fly weather it be business or pleasure, the flight schedules tell you this along with the staff being recalled.

They won’t run planes if there is no demand as it simply puts them in a worse position as they are now.

Airlines have done very well to manage their businesses during the pandemic and have taken careful measures to secure the interests of the businesses long term which I feel will benefit us greatly.

If you look at the drop in the stock over the past number of weeks, the market has rest it’s self in line with current market and economic conditions.

I’m not saying we will rise to £4 a share tomorrow, not just yet. However I feel it will have a positive impact and finally give the airlines that break they so badly need. Instantly the company will be financially better off by taking to the air. This in turn will gradually build up the sp over the coming weeks upon more flying destinations being released.

People saying the air bridges news is ‘priced in’ is utter nonsense. It was maybe priced in at £8.90 three weeks ago, hence the market resetting its value to circa £6.70 on the current status.

When the good news hits, markets will react as they always do. This news directly affects the share price as it gives the green light for the company to start making money again. It also gives an indication of how much money can be made by the amount of bookings it receives. Finally it gives the public and businesses confidence that we are progressing towards that new normal.

Air bridges will be announced tomorrow apparently which will include circa 50 countries. The delay has been down to a few countries that have high infection rates but ministers want them on the travel list. Turkey being one of them along with Portugal. However Portugal have not made the cut in the end there seems to also have been a U-turn on Greece which they will now be included in the fly zone!

There was also major delays in relation to Australia due to the complex nature of the stop overs to get there but being told they should be on non quarantine list.

There is a 3 tier system, Green, Amber and Red. Green and Amber being a NON quarantine destination upon returning to the U.K. whilst red being a 14 day quarantine upon return.

Austria, Barbados, Croatia, Germany, New Zealand, Greece, Thailand and Vietnam

Amber

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Spain

Red

Got in at the mid 70s and got out and the high 80s, then the same again but out at mid 80s!

There is too much uncertainty in America at present and with English cities now beginning local lockdowns this doesn’t bode well for the cinema experience. Just how much of the negativity can cine world sustain is the all important question.

I’ll be back but need to see a bit of stability within the US and also the U.K as at this rate I don’t even see the cinemas opening!

Time for some of these people on here to breathe out.

The ones that love to comment continuously on every dip on how a certain stock is declining. All of this 'IMO' rubbish when it's blatantly obvious that it's declining because there is;

- no official news
- limited planes in the sky
- no confirmation of exact bookings/income
- no confirmation of hotels abroad actually opened for business in which some only running at levels of 20% capacity worldwide, if they are lucky to be opened
- no vaccine
- media creating panic on every newspaper, radio and tv station, regarding a second wave
- constant reporting of expected covid spikes around the globe
- trump making a clown of himself therefore US markets being terrorised
- THE LIST GOES ON....

BUT, as these boxes are ticked off, you bet your bottom dollar that this stock along side every other large airline, will hit the investors targets and possibly higher. Therefore if you want to just keep coming on here, not invested, de ramp the SP and still not get on the investment then let us know so we can take zero note of your input.

However, as much as you’ve taken a sore one, best thing to do now would be to choose a spot on a standard execution in IAG, preferably With a higher purchase and wait.

You know it’ll hit mid 4s. May take a few months at this rate but with the companies structure and balance sheets, you know it will pay off better than any other company out there.

Tomorrow sees the government announce a 1m social distancing rather than 2m.

Air bridges to be confirmed providing further relaxation of travel.

SP to increase massively.

Big day tomorrow as government will confirm 1m social distancing instead of 2m.

Price will reflect this between the end of the day and tomorrow!

Great news that the business is secured financially prior to opening!

Even better news that social distancing will be relaxed to 1m in tomorrow’s briefing!
