Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Those have most likely been picked up by one the big boys. Directors or large holder. Im guessing seller was sniffed out and deal struck to stop slide. All speculation of course
We will get RNS in next few days i believe
Anyone have any idea how much ounces 12,000m drilling will add?
We did get some doozies
We need to start building the mine by march 2020. Thats 16 months. If MC wishes to get 3m oz proved plus bfs etc all done by then they going to have to start soon and move fast. Could be an aggresive strategy for the next yr with drilling etc. Funding maybe incoming sooner than we think.
Mc mentions in the video banks will take gold as payment. Meaning forward sale of gold very likely and the most likely route the company will be taking.
US interest rate hikes are nearing the end which will be bullish for gold, plus global economy showing signs of slowing again will be bullish for gold. Both will help with negotiations for financing even at 1000usd/oz
I dont think MC is a big fan of debt to fund exploration. They take gold?
Permits didn't move it. I dont think any other news would either. Not yet anyway. Think they not looking to raise cash till next year i feel probably Q1.
Here's hoping for a forward sale of 5-10k oz, even at 1000usd/oz, it would raise 5-10mill usd.
If he can arrange funding through forward selling between 5-10k at 1250 usd i'd see that as a massive vote of confidence and potential game changer. Would be fully funded to get major milestones including bfs and 3mill oz proved up.
Issuing shares at these levels would massively dilute all holders, although would be sign of confidence, its ompact would be less. i cannot seen any shareholders being happy with that. Most of them were 10pc holders.
Cnr need to forward sell 10k oz of gold at 1250usd and thats 10mill usd raised. Dont see any reason why existing holders wont jump at that to prove up 5mill oz and get this boat sailing without dilution.
I dont think it was ever priced in! Was it?
Im not sure if selling the company when gold is out of favour is a good thing. Especially when it looks like things may be about to turn around. I guess you have to add up the risk with nicaragua.

Seems extremely cheap for the resource, grade and AISC.
Market hopefully just needs a little encouraging. Now that permits out the way need an rns saying we following up drilling on our high grade intercepts. We've had 142g/t rock chip and about 28g/t drill intercepts. Need to add mestiza russian resource which is unaccounted in pfs and pea. Then hopefully confidence should return
Forgot to mention trade war related job cuts in affected industries.
Environment looking interesting.
Permits out the way, nicaragua calming down, 5m+ ounces looking achievable in mining friendly country.
Trade wars firing up, only a matter of time before they hit markets and companies start reporting lower profits, higher costs, which they will try throwing on cunsumers with higher priced goods. Then we have increasing interest rates, normally bearish for gold but with the trade wars ongoing this will further coupound problems for companies and countries in the crossfire (although inflation is normally good for gold as a hedge)
Then you have peak gold. Miners are running out of gold with less and less world class deposits being discovered, only a matter of time before they start to look at replacing their deminishing reserves.
Lets see what happens.
Mm's are having a laugh but fundamentals always win in the end
Is a bonafide takeover target as of today. Well done MC and team.
LaIndia facebook page looks to be updated regularly. Looks good too

The $150-$200 usd figure u expect would that be with permits granted and upside included plus risk involved etc?
It will all depend on what mc want. We hove Beaty and Mellon as major shareholders so im sure they'll take best route.
Makes me wonder if the company will try a jv approach? That could help a lot with finance and reduce dilution. Problem with it is time, do lth here want to hold longer? What would a jv announcement do to the sp? Then you also have the political risk to consider. Does the company see the situation safe enough to keep going longer term or sell on?
Who knows what the major holders are thinking

Looking forward to the permits and fireworks here.
Well it took 10 days from submitting additional studies (6th july) to pc 16th july. So im not expecting it to take too long.
As investors i dont think it wise having a political stance. Violence needs to stop on both end. Pulling up the road to build barricades across the country and launching home made motars doesnt sound peaceful to me. Repression of any sort must stop.
Dialogue is the only route to a peaceful and lasting resolution.
The fact that the pc was organsied and succesfully carried out with no major hiccup is saying a lot. Non of the government officials were lynched while the took part in the pc. People of la India seemed well informed on the project and happy at the pc. And it looks like there was enough publicity around the neighbouring community about the pc. What someone else thinks on the other side of the country makes no difference and nor should they matter as long as majority of the locals are happy.
And b2 is still operational and as far as im aware so are the others.
Im going to stick with 4 weeks after pc permits.
