Thanks, jimbob. So, market makers can be just on the bid, just on the ask or both at once then? So they were all on the bid at close, but not getting anyone to sell then? If 1.485s were buys? What IS the point of having the indicated ask at 2p? You couldn't make it up?! Why bother showing 2p as the ask when the real ask is nowhere near, other than showing an artificially large rise at close? Obviously works down as well as up...

Gets even more surreal... Does anyone know what dummy buys were costing near close? Was anyone able to get quotes to buy?

the real spread is 1.425 to sell (I can get an online quote to sell 300k for that price), and the last buy price was 1.58, although I can't even get an online quote to buy 5,000 at present

What did you mean by that? Just curious as someone bought 100k a few mins after? In here now with a sizeable number at what I hope proves to be a profitable average (a tiny amount under 1.75). Looking forward to some news in the not too distant future.

Hi Arminius, can you just explain what you mean by the level 2 talk, please? 4 vs 1 means 4 solely on the bid and one solely on the ask? is that right? cantor at 1.5p and others at 2 & 2.5.... what does this refer to?
