The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Yes, apologies , Reacher. I realised once I had posted regarding that, but thanks for clarifying my error. Hopefully, see some recovery over the next month or so
They do appear to be extremely large buys - no delayed notification or suchlike
a successful conclusion to these bank covenant talks can be announced soon (tomorrow?), and put an end to all of the uncertainty surrounding the company. should see a gradual uplift in the share price if it's all settled. FWIW (not much in my view), JP Morgan upgraded to 119 today.
Hi genty, a couple of years my senior then. Only just seen your message. Well, I'm no guru, so would just be guessing if I did say either way?! Have you taken a look at any of the technicals? I'm still holding my 15,000 - a disappointing day, but will hopefully bounce back
hi there, i'm sure in the medium to long term you'll be fine here. all depends on your timeframe for investments/trading.
The market is not impressed - down almost 9% currently. Was hoping it might have shown some strength, but back in the 60s now
Was pretty poor of management to not notify until today that there would be a delay . Still , will wait and see what has been cobbled together
Half a penny by the look of it
from the CEO did inspire some confidence, that's true. however, I have been stung once too often, to not take some profit. i'm comfortable with the 15,000 I hold at 63.22. I am certain you'll see your average soon enough and hopefully be in nice profit before too long. lets hope that the bank talks were positive.
Hi genty, well I still hold 15,000 like I say, so still on the hook for £150 per penny either way - let's hope it's blue! I don't know what your average is, but mine is 63 something (can't recall exactly), so taken some profit and will hopefully add tomorrow. I hope you see a £6-8k gain tomorrow!
good luck too, Genty. I have just sold two lots of 5,000, so am now holding 15,000. hopefully the news will be positive tomorrow and we'll both do well - you more so than me!
Have to confess to being nervous holding shares going in tomorrow. Know how this market punishes anything they don't quite like.... Am tempted to offload half before the end of the day , retaining 12,500 shares. Want to think the news will be decent....hmmm, decisions!
all in sustaining costs at $640 per oz.
£22 million in cash at Dec.'15 and no debt is a big positive.
figures not a bit worrying even on the much reduced m'cap.? opinions?
Tidd. not long to wait like you say - finals on the 26th, with news on the results of the bank covenant talks due before or on that date too.
Hi tidd. Well, nothing market sensitive naturally . I was just venting my frustration at the poor performance of the company and was simply expecting a stock response from a pa or suchlike. However, the fact that he was willing to reply directly to me was impressive. The general impression he left was of someone in control and with the future business looking assured. I should emphasise that that was the impression I took - my own opinion . I'm holding in the run up to the results and the outcome of the bank talks in the hope that I'm correct . There has been a large turnover of shares in the last week or so. Plenty of big buys (guess sells too), with people taking positions. Nice to see the price rising - RSI was rock bottom, and doubt it's much higher now.
From the chief exec. In reply to an email I sent - was very impressed
are beyond contempt
Looking like we will retest the all time low - may take another few days, but seems in inexorable decline until the BoD pull their finger out and announce a deal with the banks . Same old story - screw the shareholders . Would be really peed off if I'd put money in anywhere near the highs. As it is, I'm in around the low 60s, so not overly convened at my own position
