yes, volume is down considerably today. certainly seems to have found support around £4 - i'll be surprised if we close lower than £4 today.to be honest, I find that any company reporting slightly negative updates, etc. gets utterly hammered in the markets now. I had never heard of Carclo before they crashed a few weeks back, and am now sitting on a very tidy paper profit. hopefully, HYC will repeat that.

I bought in blocks of 1000s and 500s over the past 3 or 4 days. first entry was around 429p and the last was 1000 at 400.75 yesterday which appeared to show correctly. this seems to me a fundamentally sound company , and at the current market cap. I can't really see much further downside here. there is also the prospect of a takeover which has been mooted before - not saying this is nailed on obviously, but the potential is there.

I'm interested in the company as far as trying to keeping abreast of product development and potential, but no further than that. I had never bought into Carclo before the profits warning, but now hold a fair few at just under 170p. I'm inclined to hold these a bit longer now to see just where they might go. some good news re Xsense could really fire this upwards.

in at an average of 552p with 2000 shares following the drop post profits warning. I was hoping that we might have seen some retracement by now, but sits resolutely lower. hopefully a decent dividend will be maintained and the share price will recover in due course...and yes, the spread is always large here!

actually timed my last entry into Evraz quite well - in at 82.5ish and out at 87 for approx. £500 profit. whether that was through luck or judgement, I don't care as I'm saddled with enough dogs like EMG and POG! anyway, bought 2000 shares at 77.45, so just a small dip back in.

to have formed a base around £4. if it can form a solid bottom here and with the big selling appearing to have died away, could soon see a reversal - perhaps the £4.50 mark? I'm all in with 5k shares at 412p.

The update didn't seem too bad to me and did mention XSense a couple of times. Atmel is down just over 1% in after hours trading according to Google Finance, so hopefully Carclo won't be dragged down tomorrow? 160 seems to be a good level of support - be nice to see a bit of a retracement over the next couple of months.

the 2013 results will be released on 11th march - the dividend dates (ex-div. & payment) will be announced on the same day. looks like my patience with esur has finally been rewarded - some serious uplift over the last few days.

did you not see the competition commission report on car insurance? anyway, I'm sitting tight on my holding for the time being.

tell me about it! just checked AHL now, and I see that it is down 1.7% over Tuesday and Wednesday......It appears to be mainly long on equities from the narrative for the last full week, but the markets (FTSE100 at least) have been trending lower for the last 5 or 6 weeks.....I realise that this may be rather simplistic, but it staggers me that it is so badly performing in such a reliable way! I would like to see the waffle that the board come out with next year to explain away another dire year. I wish that Odey or other big investors would turn up the heat on them, but having said that, not sure it would achieve anything performance wise?!

I despair of Manny and his board! hopefully next week will see some clarity at last from the Fed. Perhaps the boffins that program AHL can actually accrue some gains and surprise us all!

down 4.3% in three days - almost like they're trying to screw it up?! Jack - I appreciate what you say about GLG, etc., but as I think we both agree Man is going nowhere unless a proven turnaround can be forged. I worry that everyone will have pulled their funds out of it by the time the boffins finally come up with something that works! it is deja vu, but management have to get a grip of things - can't keep promising and not delivering. it's doubly frustrating as if AHL was showing even a modicum of steady performance then combined with many of the other funds doing pretty well, the share price might actually be surprising all of us!

when is something going to change at Man?! Manny and his team appear to be just as incapable as Clarke....2014 has to see some major positives, and early in the year, I would hope. losing 3% in just two days is ruddy abysmal - am so fed up with the lack of performance!

yes, the BOD need a rocket! hopefully, the results will provide some impetus to the shares. at the moment, it seems one step forward and at least three back. up 5p on Friday and now down similarly today. also, this share seems to suffer from some of the longest red streaks I have ever seen - talking of down days consecutively over 7 or 8 days, even more on a couple of occasions. of course, it doesn't help that volume is awful.

the BOD certainly need to show some positivity in these interim results. I think the market is punishing Esure for misleading them - I certainly hope that they will take notice of that, and also be able to show some good figures on Wednesday. I would certainly be mighty fed up if I had subscribed to the IPO and held the shares. as it is, at an average of 242ish i'm not overly concerned, but would be happy to see a firm upswing in the share price!

are due out on the 13th November . they'll hopefully provide some impetus to go higher .

have just checked how ahl did yesterday, as we have been in a downtrend now for a fair period - something for it to lock onto - and it returned -1.2%!!!! they are world class at destroying investments at ahl, i'll give them that! seriously though this level of performance is utterly abysmal. does anyone on the board know, or care, what to do to put things right?! a properly fed up shareholder
