But getting tempted to sell now ( which I know is exactly what the shorters want ), but I have seen £2k of profit disappear since Friday , and it seems I'll be sitting on a loss again soon. Starting to think that it's far better to bank a profit than continually hang on. They seem to have such a stranglehold on this share - am demoralised as you may be able to tell!

To see 6.25p knocked off the price in two days. Hoping for better for the rest of the week. Would love it if the BoD released some positive news to surprise the shorters.

From touching an intra day high of 79ish on Friday and a pretty consistent 78 or so for a large part of that day, we find ourselves back in the 60s. Like you say, K3, am sure this will turn at some point, but worry that the shorters still have the ability to knock this back down currently

Please explain how this 400p deal is deemed to be a good deal? Looking at the chart it only appears to have dipped temporarily below 400p on two occasions in the last year? The only ones to benefit from this are those who got in on the recent drop surely?

I see that JP Morgan's new price target sticks a value on this of £3.15 billion odd??!! can't just be me that doesn't get this, right? am seriously considering making this my first short ever.... however, I think it'll go into the £5 area now - no idea how high though. I may be old fashioned, but I always pick up the phone to my favourite takeaway(s) - saves them the 12% (!) commission for a start, so I assume they always prefer phone orders? I genuinely can't fathom this valuation? anyone?!

yes, a big rise on ex div day on no news....other than above average volume it seems odd! however , not complaining! I hope so as regards the value.

whilst Admiral are up 0.4% and Direct Line are up 0.9%. buys exceed sells today, markets are up, no bad news announced......and still they take it down.

where Esure is comfortably down, whilst Admiral and Direct Line are both up. can't even be kept up with a 11.7p divi in about 6 trading days. I'm becoming wary of this share now . I hold ,but am becoming tempted to get out with a very small profit now.

I just think that Esure consistently underperforms its peers in this sector . It's a frustrating share to hold. Those holding from the IPO must be especially unimpressed with the share price currently . It seems to be morphing into a trader's share rather than a long term investment.

hmmm....this share continues to amaze me. a m'cap. of 2.35billion! I have never shorted a stock before, but would be tempted to begin here. just seems so overvalued to me?

A perfect example of a classic Esure down day...will see how it starts tomorrow - will probably add on any dip into the low 210s
