@Normbeef, that's only 6 trading days left to hit 2p. I admire your optimism. Relating to all this SP prediction I suppose the other question we have to ask ourselves is will we see another super spike again in the new year, say up to 5 or 6p, and then back down to 3p or lower. It's rarely a simple straightforwards climb.

Hi Speedy, I was referring to the fear of a slight ufo price drop along with an overall FTSE fall, not a silver price drop.

I guess the FTSE will take a hit this week with all this new covid news, so UFO will finally go sub 1p. I really hope I'm wrong. Also hoping the silver price gives us a very prompt recovery if it does drop for a while. Let's see.

We should never have reached 3p so quickly, but having been there we should not be back down at 1p. It is crap, there is no kinder way of describing it.

Yes Bishop, I must say it's quite frustrating seeing the likes of ECR growing steadily over the past month and yet we sit so stagnant, even with such great potential. Our time will come very soon.

This share is the worst piece of junk in my portfolio. I'd have some respect for them if they'd give just an occasional update on the financials. Slimeballs.

Well, if they are in profit then they presumably bought in before the 3p spike, so selling out between 1.5p - 3p would have made a lot more sense than selling out now. If they presume this share is going nowhere (or they are desparate for money) then it perhaps make sense to bail out now, but the general feeling is this is a share going places quite soon. So Shoustons question does make sense.

Hope it doesn't go up as fast as October rise otherwise I get excited & can't sleep properly.

At least it seems to have a spring in its step, let's hope it lasts. Exactly two months ago it was at 3p. Unbelievable.

@Bishop, Your last paragraph rings true with me. I first bought into UFO back in the Spring time and traded in and out of it a couple of times during the Summer. By September though I'd become fond of it due to the newsflow and decided just to keep hold of it regardless (rather to my regret on this last spike of 3p, but anyway). I think we all know this is going to be worth anywhere from 5-15p ish in a years time. I just wish the ii's would realise it and start getting on with it pronto!

Like many on here I cast my eye over most of the AIM shares and compared to most of them UFO seems like a very solid bet. I'm rather surprised that there aren't a few more II's buying in at these levels whilst they can.

Max, the surge in SP occured on the 13th October & lasted for 4 days taking us to just over 3p. At this point we were coming off the silver highs so I think the catalyst was more likely over-speculation over what might possibly happen in Greenland, as Pops mentioned yesterday. I feel that to keep quoting what the Daily Mail have suggestsed was the catalyst (silver price) is slightly misleading. It was a false super-surge over those 4 days & probably more harmful to Alien Metals than good. Hopefully the next growth we see soon is more steady & sustainable.

Yeah I thought the same thing Bishop. It's good to be optimistic but that's going to need one cracking jv rns to get it to that level in the next fortnight.

Was it Nortstar just last week reckoned this was suddenly going to lift up to 7p level? These chartists live in a real dream world.
