So understandable and typical around the TD and logging of a drill, there is so much to play for in a our choices and options that Dave has made for us. Just when things get a little bumpy people panic this impedes there trading positions and decision making. All the while not looking at the actual value at hand. If traders/investors are de-risking then that’s ok to free carry or top slice. I don’t see the sentiment matching the mid term potential here to be honest. Ive de-risked and have a strategy and I’m not panicking just because Australia oversold. You’ll be surprised how quick things change in AIM on days like this. Ships weren’t just made to sit in harbourghs.

To all those who have managed a free carry i salute you, sleep well at nights knowing that you have invested into a potential Goliath of a return.. over the years i have seen so many strategies and the free carry seems to fit the bill for most. If you have and built up a pot of cash to trade with and buy back in to a share knowing you can leave the profit as a free carry then more kudos to you. It does take discipline and experience a calm mind but focused on the strategy, don’t waver and seize the opportunities...glad to see some sensible wisdom bestowed and vocally encouraged towards newbies and other less experienced investors.. tonight.

Although some on here are an exception to the rule and must come from another planet....??

43% of OTC trades were from hedge shorting, ain’t got a fig how this works or effects us in aim and in asx , but some how it does.

In general for this particular thread, i would agree somewhat with jones Richard in that 88e have got too many opinions and plays to juggle around with if merlin doesn’t come in. What about harrier shallow and possible deep? Lima 900mmb oip. Alpha. Panr unitisation of oil flowing into our acreage potentially 1-3 levels, 1 trillion cf of condensate, Yukon gold 90million oip and possible unitisation into anwr p0001, the HRZ still in play. And UMIAT?

So yes it may/might/possibly go down slightly depending on peoples longer term risk to reward... if you see most of the plays being executed then stay in after the drill results regardless of hitting oil. IMHO

Dave wall mentioned that the oil market companies will decide true value for 88e not the MM’s as they don’t always give true value hence why overvalued spikes which come down when reality hits. IMHO

1.5p being tested as support, today. AIM MM”S cautious. Been looking at otc shorts positions and how much it may weigh on 88e, looking to see if the % has decreased which may imply closing positions and gives 88e breathing space to move around hopefully up, with new investors. Free carry tactic is popular. Any thoughts?
