That is a fantastic idea mr martini. Would be great for the globe trotters to meet and greet and have a luncheon and drinks to catch up and chat..i assume some of you will be getting fitted for your ordered Rolex’s ;-) i will defo be up for that ..
Like i said ages ago i would be buying back in/keeping a core holding around this time. Kudos to those who got in earlier around 1.1 to 1.3p

Cheers for the reply, yes i do get it, just as i have dividends with DEC last month USA based so needed w8-ben form to get better tax treaty rate reduction…my confusion is and it may sound crazy but if you don’t have the divvy form for FXPO you get hit with the full35% withholding tax, but if you claim the tax reduction by sending it to HMRC then will it be put back into your isa if not then is it liable for other CGT and dividend penalties outside and also depends on your own personal circumstances

Apologies for the continued confusion on my part i have just spoken to my broker again and you were right in that you do need to reclaim the with holding tax from the dividends from HMRC, even inside the stock ISA, different rules apply out side of one as well… many thanks for the feed back. For got to mentioned that to reclaim taxes for loses which you can only do OUTSIDE of your stock ISA, as an ISA is TAX exempt so any loses CANNOT be reclaimed. Of course some types of dividends do get taxed in somewhat in an ISA depending on the right forms for example DEC as i mentioned previously mainly for the USA based shares which are dual listed . I’m still struggling to clarify if FXPO dividends do from reading in here and from talking to my broker..

I was under the impression by my broker at ii, that there is no forms to fill in the stock isa for FXPO so no TAX at all taken from the dividend, as its FTSE listed? Are you saying there is? I have recently a dividend from DEC an AIM listed share in London based in America in my stock ISA and i had to have a w8-ben from to reduce the treaty tax for the dividend from 30% to 15%. w8-ben renewed every 3 years … this is frustrating if either my broker is lying or isn’t clued up on all the tax forms…
Have you got your FXPO shares in an stock isa or just normal trading account? As you didn’t specify which..

Just talked to my broker in interactive investors, they said no forms to fill out if you hold FXPO in your stock isa, coz its listed on the FTSE london exchange. Anyone holding this share on the open this morning qualifies. Hope that helps does what.. looking to buy in when funds are available..

Cheers for that, 13Martyn13. Never knew the full workings of the sipp but many thanks for pointing out some. I’m looking to buy some more DEC in the new year depending on PQE buyout offer form Viston United Swiss AG. There is such a buzz about it that investors are buying PQEFF on the OTC USA market via some brokers who deal with OTC in the UK and Europe . Due to a very long trading halt by the TSXV in canada should be clearing up soon.. DEC is a great steady co. And divvy payer gas is an important transitional energy source for the world to eventually go fully green and fossil fuel free, although half a barrel of oil is still needed to make over 20,000 products to consume and keep the gdp economy growing world wide..

TOMCO question: PQE has recently exchanged Temple Mount with Valkors asphalt ridge nw site, is this near the Tomco thsII site? If so then potentially in-situ, open mine and sand sales, i did read that in situ counts to around roughly half of the bitumen Estimated reserves and I’m not sure/ couldn’t remember if it is of the revised better quality if it is then win win..

Ps: caveat with having a stock isa is that you cant claim tax loses in a stock isa, so unless you have a great accountant at hand and or wiz stock broker in the family maybe the sleep easy and less head ache approach is putting it in a stock isa and or spill it over into your sipp .. no advice given just hypothetical And from experience only. Please do your DD and research and seek financial advice from those who are qualified.

Got my dividend yesterday with interactive investor, DEC being joint listed here in London and USA you can put it in a stock ISA and protect it from further U.K. taxes. If you have filled out a w8-ben form this will give you a reduction from 30% to 15% USA-UK tax treaty. But the caveat is if your share are NOT in a STOCK ISA ie. a trading account with a bank or broker, it will be subject to CGT and extra dividend taxes all depending on individual circumstances and how many shares you own that takes you above the appropriate tax bands..

Doesn’t sweat it, everything will play out accordingly. Vision could buy up shares but they wont get counted towards the 50%+1 offer if they did buy and depending how much it would have to be reported on each % they reach. And this would only hike the sp up making weaker sellers sell just near or above the offer price right.. but not the longer term holders who know what the true value is. It is a blessing that we are in a trading halt (: Coincidence or one of the best strategic tactics ever played) as when we were halted on 9th august all the TSXV shares could not be sold, only a few loose shares were banded around the OTC which a lot are traded by shorters. My shares are in a nominee account and can not be used to short. So what is being traded is loose change and anyone smart would be using brokers in other countries who deal on the OTC to buy up as many as possible, and with in the CGT law in uk you have an allowance and at lower prices you get more shares for that allowance to eventually transfers in to your Stock Isa. I can only see a win win, if PQE don’t deliver people will tender to viston and Christmas will come early for them, if Haywood get a better deal for PQE, investors will buy up the shares for the better offer or another bidder ? And or PQE will grow organically into a bemoth earning some investors millions.. only for those who have patience.

My kinda thinking, wish i had that funds now early bird catches the worm. Depending on PQE, Haywood valuation and trade halt lifted, i would consider a big chunk of cash into TOMCO…
