I have actually phoned john potter and malcome groat leaving my number and email with a few questions (if they get back as promised they would for shareholders) then i will post their reply
Whats good for vivakor is good for TomCo…
Possible in a couple of years, its complicated what with DEC hedged levels 90% this year, 75%next year and 50% in 2024 from memory i could be out of kilt so correct me if its wrong.. don’t forget DEC gets taxed more on current prices than hedged prices, and bare in mind the losses from hedging i am not sure if it gets off set on the tax? Then there is the debt facility paying off so much a year and the restructured loan for M&A. I am no accountant and i am sure there are a few in here who could elaborate further on the matter… from what i have read from posters and those more in the knowledge is that DEC is a good steady eddie share and is paying a nice dividend from 40% of free cash flow each year, this will creep higher no doubt on good hedging and growing margins and higher gas prices. Anything above $3 is profit (depending on how much % is hedge and locked in) and then what is left at to tax on current prices. I would say that if we relied on current prices alone with out hedging the tax would be a huge weight on us and we are at the mercy of unstable economics where prices can and will change accordingly, not saying this is wrong as there are other gas companies who work with this model but i prefer a steady safer approach…just my thoughts

I can feel your frustrations, but we have to have a reality check hear. I have been re-reading the last couple of Relevant RNS’s and i have change my expectations in line with out of tomco control and unforseen circustances, not that i am justifying the lack of PR although from the likes of other sources including QFI snippets that to be honest tomco bod should of synchronised with at least in some way to acknowledge a Cohesive alignment concerning Utah/QFI/Valkor involvenment if at all possible?
But saying all that i will say again didn’t john potter mentioned that a any shareholder could at any time email tomco bod with concerning questions (not abuse) and they will do their best to answer, if not insider sensitive. So there is no use in over complaining when the risks and delays are spelt out in the disclaimers and they are pretty extensive to be honest and still pose risks in funding (normal requirement from bod to say, hey this is what we would like to happen but getting there isn’t as straight forward as a, b and c because of other factors beyond there control….by all means hold them accountable and question as much as possible to them. But whinging about it doesn’t make head way or is constructive going forward…we cant be that 5yr old kid having a temper tantrum just because it cant have what it wants NOW. Be like warren buffett and do your DD and research and see value where others don’t and be patient and happy with your purchase until the fruits are ripe to pick.. news will follow soon roughly every 3 weeks on avg. give or take.
@et al
Well if by the latest QFI rns, that hinted they hope to conclude end of april (with tomco) as well as with valkor some contracts. And i hope john potter being in the utah been signing off on paper work (mou, loi, more off take contracts) i will be emailing him and ask anything to declare (that QFI has not already hinted at via their recent RNS) i am hoping for funding for the TSHii full $16.5m 90% and valkor loan for 10%. 1.5m of TSHii to be combined based on recent contracts with vivakor and possibly others…then its full steam ahead to get the funding for a 5k PQe post plant on tomco land.
@fitzy66
Its possible coz, we (TOMCO) wouldn’t want to hear it first from QFI who are expecting to close some contracts at then end of April? As that would put the icing on the peed off cake that tomco bod are somewhat inept at keeping good pr to their loyal shareholders.. didn’t they mention they are open to questions in a transparent way in their recent RNS? Anyone emailed J.P. Or the bod?

I think the last line of this paragraph is an interesting point.
"Further to an agreement reached with our former 50% joint venture partner, Valkor LLC ("Valkor"), as announced on 26 August 2021, TomCo now owns 100% of Greenfield, with full control, thereby affording TomCo's shareholders the opportunity to fully benefit from Greenfield's significant potential, whilst retaining Valkor as a valued stakeholder and future substantial shareholder in the Company. The consideration for the acquisition only becomes payable upon Greenfield receiving funds from, or drawing upon, a loan or credit facility in connection with the construction of an oil sands processing facility as specified in the FEED study, which I personally believe serves to demonstrate Valkor's confidence in our plans and ability to deliver."
I am very positive on Valkor, and I think the point is valid- Valkor must be rather positive about how this is all going to play out.
@crownos
I think you make a good balanced and fairpoint crownos. The word of the month is “POTENTIAL” at the moment and we can only speculate untl official confermation on any stage leading upto drill results and funding etc.. if i may add on the topic of what QFI posted the other day concerning its april obligations in utah which i interpreted as greenfield mainly (technically tomco still need to get funding for valkor to be happy with the 29% shares in tomco in return for its 50 % of greenfield) offically tomco hold 100% but QFI could also be talking about more agreements with valkor who are ramping up its POSP< CORT 5k plant itself. Which is a good precursor for the process to be fully working and in production earning revenues strreams from oil and sand.
Just some thoughts

Indeed it is and will im sure continue throughout the month as those who got paid at end of march will be putting some of their monthly savings into stock ISA and SIPP’s, not forgetting to mention hopefully and fingers n toes crossed on 18th-24th april give or take some broker admin payment transfers some PQE Viston offer sale money will be coming into tomco and maybe vivikor, QFI too?
Defo good news from PQE regarding the 5000k process build..and more credence from Valero who are steaming ahead with their new plant. Just shows Uber confidence in getting this done and into production…must be a boost for Tomco getting funding
@dustofnations 12:43
Big thanks for your effort, cheers..

Lol yep typo, apologies….only got a gcse in “ye olde English” and speak more as a hobbit would do. Less more, than eloquently spoken in a Shakespeare’s play. ;-) and as far as my spelling and punctuation goes well i was asked once by my English teacher how is your grammar and i replied “oh, she is ok but her sciatica is playing up a bit and she hates it when there’s a que at the post office”
Yes we are in the range of placing prices .0045 (777,777,777) and .005 (250,000,000) shares avg combined price of .0046 roughly, so i guess MM’s adjusting for lack of progress in their eyes. All still good but with obvious funding risks, lack of clarity with the test drilling from Tomco at the mo but via QFI does seem a bit will they wont they make it in time.. could we see more placings? Perhaps but i hope it is on good prospects to literally start to dig our selves out of this funding hole..

I almost forgot that wild cat story, thanks for bringing it up as it does sum up Alaskan oil exploration and yes i remember it was on the 11th hour after many attempts to find the “BIG ONE” that prudoe bay was discovered and i think it was a lot less back then to be extracted, only new modern techniques have gotten out the 15bn so far out of 30bn oil in place which i remember the late great paul basinski saying when the meteorite hit the area it was 90bn oip, 60bn trickled away over the years. But more interesting was roughly from memory 30% or 40% was from icewine HRZ Paul’s field of speciality he was only one of two professor who knew about the special phase process and he got the area right at icewine while the other guy missed it by a few miles..
I had the pleasure of talking to paul B. A few times at the London 88e investor presentations and he had the knowledge of 5 phd jobs roled into one…and helped start the fracking revolution in the Permian basin …
