You do know how long it takes AFC to get from trials to delivering saleable products ? Decades.

No one cares about sales numbers, according to Bond we have a £27m order book although it has been £27m for about a year and never seems to go up (bit mysterious), AFC need to deliver the order book, we even had a fund raise to ‘fast track’ production, not sure how that works though when Bond said they can build 4 units a month and there’s no plans to increase that.

Any other company announcing news of this kind would be good news and give the sp a boost. Unfortunately due to years of fake news and continual disappointment no one believes, including the market, that this is a positive step.

No mention of hydrogen fuel cells, no mention of AFC, obviously revenue wise the joint venture won’t produce additional revenue as any HFC generators being hired out would simply replace income they would have received from renting out diesel gensets. Although the joint venture is a big deal for AFC it clearly isn’t for Speedy Hire.

Considering how long the power tower has been on sale, and the 30kW and 200kw units that have also been available to buy for some time now and no orders other than from a joint venture you have to feel that this is one massive failure to date. That mobile hydrogen refuelling vehicle will go rusty in the car park before its ever needed.

I would definitely not be buying anything right now with what could happen with Russia and the fact Warren Buffet has been selling stock and now holds 25% as cash, the most in a long time.

Sparkey, Bond has covered all these , supply chain updates, manufacturer capacity and most importantly the future order book. What we need in the year of delivery is news on deliveries ! We’ve seen Acciona post about their delivery but absolute silence from any other customers taking delivery, sale or hire, which suggests not much is happening hence why I think Bond bailed. We will find out soon.

Actually thinking about it, it would be referring to one of the five sets they have trialled, not the AFC unit.

A good read. However, having once supposedly having first mover advantage the post states this is the 5th hydrogen fuel cell generator they have tested.

Not too sure if this is referring to the AFC unit, if it is, surely it should be announced in an RNS as a sale.

This initiative represents the 5th implementation by ACCIONA in its construction projects of zero-emission generator sets, based on H2 fuel cells, and positions it as one of the pioneering construction companies worldwide in the use and adoption of this type of technology.

In addition, the recent acquisition by ACCIONA of one of these zero-emission generator sets makes it the first infrastructure company in Spain to incorporate equipment of these characteristics into its assets.

Years ago when we were ‘on the cusp’ and ‘accelerating towards sales’ and ‘on the glidepath to sales’, but with no evidence of this actually happening, and placings for manufacturing ramp up, and putting systems on shelves I said Bond would paint himself into a corner. His mistake was finally producing turnover figures which he resisted for years but I guess with ABB having a stake they demanded this information. Bond clearly did not want to be around when this financial years numbers are released because all those years of promises and expectations will be laid bare for all to see, and poor old Gary Bullard will have to explain it to shareholders.

Funny how the revenue forecast of £5-6m this year reduced to £4m yet broker targets unchanged.

What will their targets be when revenue comes in at £1m because we can only build 4 systems a month ? How did Bond think we would have £6m revenue when it’s not physically possible to build that many systems in house and there was no plan for outsourced manufacture ?

With only a £2m order from Speedy and 6 month rental proceeds from Acciona where is the rest of the £4m revenue for this year going to come from ? Where is the expected’ further order from Speedy or from Tamgo?
