I’m 99% certain there is no involvement with AFC. I did google who makes the most efficient ammonia crackers CN, and while it’s not possible to establish, it does throw up an awful lot of huge global companies all either with their own cracker tech or working on it, Aramco, Johnson Matthey, Thyssenkrupp, Linde, Mitsubishi, you get the picture ? What are the chances of AFC having the worlds most efficient cracker tech out of that lot ? Oh and please stop spelling phenomenal wrong, it’s so annoying ! Don’t you trust the spellchecker ?

This project was announced in March 2023, loads of press coverage from that time, no mention of AFC anywhere that I can see, that doesn’t mean we didn’t contribute later, but if AFC are not involved that will be a massive blow.

In the update a few days ago it was announced we had reached the first milestone and are now in discussions about what happens next.

They clearly know a lot more than Peel Hunt.

The only slight disappointment is that the ICL cracker coming online has changed from early 2026 to first half of 2026 subject to permitting, let’s hope this isn’t more Bond speak. But positive news is that phase 1 with the S&P 500 partner is complete, but it would have been nice to know what this work entailed and what the further phases are, and how long they are expected to take but it sounds like it’s an unknown at this stage. Yet more patience needed as ever with AFC.

We did £4m in revenue but paid half of it ourselves as it’s a JV and we supplied products that were 85% overpriced that are too expensive to hire out.

Ald, this is moving the cracker prototype to the ICL site. Realistically I can’t see there being many risks or delays in doing this, ICL are a chemical company so there won’t be any delays around safety/regulations, and once on site the JV COULD be generating between £1-£4k a day in revenue, £365k of revenue, £182k for AFC would be a great result for shareholders and would prove the journey to commercialisation has started.
