You do know how long ago AFC started trying to sell buy fuel cells ? I wouldn’t call 20 years overnight, plus loads of other companies are already managing to do it, just not us.

Actually I think I’ve just answered it myself, it’s probably the same number of generators but it’s because they are so much cheaper to build now, 15 generators probably would have retailed at £11m under Bond

Another question has to be, if the Speedy JV has stayed on course, year 1 was £4m, year 2 they were meant to order £11m worth of generators, so why only 15 now ? Ie £ 1.5m.

Anyone else find it even just a little bit concerning that the S&P partner who agrees a joint venture with us to develop a cracker, after doing their due diligence, so they are fully aware of the cracker’s capability, after completing phase one, has now changed their mind about what they want ?

Does this mean we now redo phase one again for the larger size cracker, or do we move to phase 2 ? Personally I would have preferred to hear phase one went really well and we are starting phase 2. It just feels like the can has been kicked down this incredibly long road yet again.

I’m the same as you Bondy, I don’t feel more or less comfortable with AFC after the investor meet. Producing hydrogen from April is great news though and will be a first commercial opportunity that genuinely produces cash in the bank.

True, Rome wasn’t built in a day but the Colosseum was built in 8 years, AFC have built nothing in over 20 years !

I hope to see a return of the slow steady rise we were seeing, based on all the good news prior to the results. Everything is moving in the right direction, and we are seeing more big news items being announced.

It would be nice to know why phase 2 of the JDA has not started yet, more detail around this would be useful.

I would imagine the reason for the drop the last 2 days is due to details in the report being known to the market

Yes Alde, and ABB also validated the 200kw system and look where that got us. More validation can only be a good thing.
