Significant strides, now where have heard that before ?
Year end 31st October 2021
"The regulatory platform and political will to address climate change has never been stronger which can only help drive transition away from traditional technologies. We are well-placed to continue to make large strides in 2022 towards our goal of displacing pollutant diesel generators for off- grid power as part of the global transition to Net Zero."

Mr Adam Bond, AFC's Chief Executive Officer, said: "This is a fantastic result for the Company and demonstrates the ongoing strong support we have from our loyal shareholder base who continue to believe in the opportunities for future success following the strides made by the Company in 2015. With the offer 3.6 times oversubscribed, I would like to thank our shareholders for such a positive response in the current challenging market conditions and for their continued support."

Ian Williamson, Chief Executive Officer of AFC Energy, commented: "In the last year the technical team at AFC Energy have made great strides in improving both the power output and longevity of our fuel cells and we are now within touching distance of reaching our goal of 12 months electrode life. Achieving these targets will allow us to fully commercialise our product."

Chief Executive Adam Bond added: “We have been working on the AlkaMem membrane over the past 24 months and have now made significant strides forward in demonstrating the commercial value this technology can bring to AFC Energy.
And many more !
Bumble, you mean years ago when AnneOwl expressed concern that we didn’t have the right products at the right price at the right time ? You are correct though that it’s been so long waiting that the majority here have forgotten.
Are we still on the cusp ? The glidepath to sales ? Accelerating towards sales ? All these comments were years ago and we are no nearer ! Even Speedy aren’t advertising the power towers, that shows you how sad the situation is.
‘Certainly it is very important to show to the city, and to our clients, and our investors that we are a serious company and we are doing serious science’.
Says it all really, it’s all about image. Lots of huge companies were started in bedrooms or garden sheds, while AFC have brand new labs and still can’t deliver Alkamem.
Garonne, as I mentioned earlier, the video clearly states that AFC contacted Klick just to buy some lab furniture (for their existing sub standard labs), they ended up being convinced to invest our money into complete new lab facilities, also in the video an AFC employee clearly states they will give a good impression to the markets. Unfortunately despite these lovely new expensive shiny labs they still can’t perfect Alkamem !
That’s funny because I read I read "material commercial interest" as another one of the fictitious 50+ qualified enquiries that came to nothing and the ‘how best to announce the imaginary order book’ that never materialised
‘ Analysts anticipate that more than 20 generators will be deployed through the joint venture over this period’
Hardly a glowing endorsement for 2024, but it’s better than the 8000 hrs of power tower rental we had in 2023.
‘so a bit of tweaking of the full system and it should be there.‘
Every RNS relating to Alkamem reads like that. If you really believe the ammonia cracker just needs a bit of tweaking more fool you. This is minimum 12 months away, probably 2 years.
Powerhouse Energy MARCH 2017 !
STILL ON TRACK ACCORDING TO HAGGIS
Delivery of First Commercial Order for Small Scale Fuel Cell System from PowerHouse Energy
AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), the industrial fuel cell power company, wishes to announce it has received confirmation from PowerHouse Energy plc ("PowerHouse") of the Company's first commercial sale of a small-scale alkaline hydrogen fuel cell system. In accordance with the order from PowerHouse, AFC Energy will deliver the system once all parties are satisfied and it is confirmed that the PowerHouse G3-UHt Ultra-high temperature waste gasification system has been successfully recommissioned and is generating a hydrogen stream specification appropriate for the operation of the AFC Energy proprietary fuel cell system.
Alkamem RNS JUNE 2020 ! Coming up for 4 year anniversary but STILL ON TRACK ACCORDING TO HAGGIS
Adam Bond, Chief Executive Officer at AFC Energy, said "the AlkaMemTM product series continues to gain traction with industry and academia and we are delighted to have commenced additional third party membrane validation activities, in addition to that already conducted with De Nora. The growth in high-density fuel cell systems, such as our HydroX-Cell(S)TM platform, alongside the cost and scaling benefit of alkaline water electrolysis means the adoption of AlkaMemTM has the potential to be a key enabler of both systems in the fast growing Hydrogen economy".
I forgot about CH2ARGE
Electricity generated by that fuel cell is then fed into a 40kW battery, from which EV owners draw the charge for their cars. Each CH2ARGE unit comprises two EV charge points, capable of dispensing around 140 full charges before the hydrogen tank requires refilling.
AFC is currently in talks with a number of potential partners, and says it will be able to begin rolling the chargers out by the end of this year if a deal is struck soon.
The company does not currently envisage CH2ARGE as something for EV owners to have at home. The intention is for the chargers to be installed at motorway service stations, supermarkets, stadiums and other retail environments.
AFC claims the cost of using a CH2ARGE unit will be competitive with Tesla Superchargers rates, while the off-grid nature of the hydrogen chargers frees them from the limitations implicit in current charging tech.
STILL ON TRACK ACCORDING TO HAGGIS
I’m an intelligent investor but I don’t believe they will, primarily based on their last 15+ years of history and the very long list of failures. Looks like ABB and Acciona might be joining that list soon, although Bond will never announce it, it will just be swept under the carpet.
What happened to all the BIG announcements you were EXPECTING at the end of last year ?
