Yes i recall that transition. But thats the point the tech gap between OLED and QDEL isnt that much. Its simpler self generating light over backlit. Tech gap isnt as large as the one your talking on.

Looks like QD screen tech us the future they out perform OLED and i have a OLED.

The previous arrangement with apple and nano was NOT nano specific. They pulled that particular project and other suppliers lost contracts too.

So looks like the rumour mill has some basis that its being used in apple vision tech.

A multiple billion buy out so hes obviously well connected.

They are retaining 20mil which puts them way way way over liquidity needs on OPEX. I imagine there will be big plans for some of the 20mil. Also funds them to larger production.

My view is the dividend is a payment more for the LTH who have suffered as a apology and of course to line their own pockets.

As a ex divi where if wherever it ends up i suspect a sharp recovery. CEO is aware of the ex divi possible drop as he was asked the question and responded in a BRR video i suspect he has some announcements lined up like finalising of who the new 'major' he is in with advance discussions with.

Appreciate that information i also appreciate you being balanced in your post in sense that some is possibility links and why you believe the apple link is probable.

Not a post to put on my twitter as it involves some speculation.

However what i must say is i suppose the elusive behaviour will largely be down to rivals clocking on to what tech is being used by this 'major'.

Hense the secrecy that i suppose adds fuel to the speculation that a full buyout of tech may come to protect it rather than as a long term supplier where others can see whats being used.

Just my thoughts.

more eloquent way of getting my point across. I expect price recovery soon after divi like most major ex divi payers. Be it from 30p to 22p for example or 20p to 12p.

Its where SP ends up pre divi then isnt it. Even if it took SP down to 8p it isnt stayiny there long post divi as to anyone thats exceptionally under value.

Or could be a tender offer then.
