ken, still holding my 40k glen @ 311, so sitting very pretty at the moment, am holding though as its looking like more still to come, shall certainly hold till ex divi at least. Bought my IAG @ 518/520 looking for 600, but will review at that price before i sell at the rate its clmbing i might change my mind, might just take my stake back and leave the rest as freebie lth's for the divis.

IAG are on a roll Ken, been a great week with them. picked up 3800 in my new ISA which isnt that many and am already £1600 up, no complaints from me. But the best thing about this week is that 5here is NO freaky friday :)

couple of things with the water utilities guys to bear in mind.

1. corbyn, he may get in with all the brexit rowlocks at some point, although i doubt he will be able to fund taking these public again.
2. all listed water companies have been told to reduce leakage drastically (pnn by 15%), which i know is just nigh on impossible, or face penalties. There are very minimal oppertunities in water utilities to reduce cost bases much further and great continual pressure to reduce prices. in short they are not the divi cash cows they used to be. If you look back at SVT, during each 5 year amp period they always 'rebase' their dividend payouts which reduces the yield.

just my opinion of course, and probably ok for shortish term trading but i wouldnt bank on them for the longer term.

The reason it was so low and such a big firm, theoretically able to ride the waves, is why i pitched in a few thousand after it took a sudden big dive a while back. i thought it'll settledown and bounce back. it didnt, consistantly since its bounced like a flat football and just cont8nued downwards. i cant see a clear business reason why, but im not expecting any recovery anytime soon tbh. Your right that the divi needs slashing, must be getting on for nearly 10% now which is just insanity. ive put my shares in the bottom 'hopefull but not expected to improve' draw for the m9ment and wont be adding,

i have a few of these Tom, and everyday its down then down more. talk is management are rubbish and overpaid. if i could recover my (modest) monies id be out.

dont think so ken, think ivan would be shouting about the new plant opening otherwise. probably just a smallish 'test' type amount.

yes ken saw that this morning, was crying in my cornflakes when i saw the drop but it soon shot back up so going the right way now at least :)

i see from the news tab Glens floggin* a bit of cobalt again produced at Katanga, hopefully when the new plants finished they'll be moving a bitmore.

its tough billy, i used to drink around 3 pints of milk everyday without noticing but no longer unfortunately. i tend to drink 200ml every two hours (generally milk as each ml is 1 calorie) and stagger that with my food. In effect i cant take capacity now as i have no stomach so everything going in goes straight to my intestines, which cant take quantity. All good fun though and beats the alternative.

Still have to limit portion sizes (for life) so getting calories is troublesome but did you know a £1 easter egg has 500, large fries 510. guess what im chuffing lots of lol. Cant manage a pint though - only allowed 100ml an hour - im a cheap date nowadays, best stick to spirits :)

Fell over in the chip shop tonight getting placing my order and the other fecking customers kept standing their toast up in me, gits lol.

75kg to start billy, went down to just a tad over 60kg during treatment, Oxfam started a feckin appeal for me! im only a little un though at 5 foot 8 tall.
