This whole platform is an opinion board - for opinions - and a fair few of those stocks you mention are commonly held by many many people, so why not an opinion? Indeed one of the ones you mention i have even worked for. So why not have a view? The whole concept is tomallow open public posting.

The real issue you have is that over many years you have made many many false statements about 'huge' profits and ramped the backside out of stocks claiming 'big wins', when just a simple read back through your earlier posts confirm the exact opposite.

For example, you keep ramping BOo, have done for years, worth £5 you said as it crattered to 34 pence, yet you falsly continue claiming to make mega profits, but when read back your posts prove the total opposite. Like your £3.78/£8k buy. What a clanger, yet you claim a profit lol.

Like your assurances (where you still stalk me) that RYA were 'going bankrupt' in 2021. they didnt.

Like your claims to be a (quote) "18 years professional investor". Your not. No professional investor would spend his life on a platform such as this for advice/opinion/views.

A professioanl investor would have access to far more usable data rather than a public forum like this. To claim otherwise is just nonsense.

The only reason you are here on Glen at all is to stalk me. Its quite obvious and flattering really.

Certainly BT has picked up recently after its smashing, VOD still on its rear saddled with debt, but yeah timing is king - also the tricky part

Definately a worry Troajan and does lead for some sleepless nights on occasion, im a long termer myself, been doing this since i was 19, and generally if you buy big decent companies (ftse stuff etc) father time comes to the rescue a lot of the time if you drop a goolie and buy at the wrong price or something goes pear shaped.

Of course doesnt always work out, Lloy/BT/VOD being obvious examples of never rising again sp's but ive done pretty good with that strategy over the years, letting things compound up is the way to go, but am getting older so id sooner play a bit safer nowadays.

Thats why i tend to keep away from Aim (although i have a few eg Soli@£9.45 & crappy BOO@40.995p), bit too much of a gamblers casino for me and im too tight to take that sort of 'risk' with my pot, never been in a bookies. I still hold big positions in Glen/BP/SHELL/RYA, and have added heavily in LGEN/PHNX recently to. Relative tidlers in SOLI/BARC/LLOY/SMIF/AAL/WIZZ/CEY/CCL/PSN and a few more.

Deffo agree UK is under the cosh still, needs to pull its socks up a little

Me either Troajan, but this last year or two i have adopted a change in strategy andbspread the pot around more, used to go heavy on few stocks, but not so much these days. Getting sensible in my old age. Trouble is more stuff to watch over.

Have to say i fancy a few NVd shares, seem to alway be heading upwards, just couldnt pay $1k for a single share though, dunno why but doesnt sound reasonable, but after the split who knows.

A little known fact that water companies, pennon included have been taking controbutions since privitisation for every additional connection made to their systems from builders and developers.

And all that money was specifcally ringfenced to provide for the additional demand placed on water and sewerage networks, to cater for that increased usage.

So, one new house ='s 1 new sewerage and water infrastructure charge, bigger properties calculated on a multiple and so pay much more.

At one time these costs were £1500 for a single house. Around about half that now.

I wonder where all that money went? - because clearly it didnt end up being ploughed into the networks which have been 'sweated' and left to cope ever since.

IMV its a bit late for them to be crying 'more money please' afetr they have milked all new connections since 1991 and done nothing with the cash they have creamed in.

Those 'divis' back in the day were excellent Billy, big numbers on what you and others held so worth a few sleepless moments. Not so good now mind.

Clearly you dislike the company very much, especially after reading through your history, which i suggest all serious holders on here read to understand your agenda. So my question to you would naturally be, why is this the only board you ever post on? and all negatively at that.

Its certainly not because you think highly of the company nor its prospects, nor seem to have much of a handle on the fabelled art of charting, considering the sp is nowhere near your 420's "all day long" assurance. Strange this for an ex city lawyer to be wasting his time on.
