I was sitting in a 16th centuary pub last sunday with 4 friends (use a dictionary) that i've made from the lse boards. Two travelled a round trip of 500 miles to share a sunday lunch, the other two a touch less, but none the less it was a pleasent afternoon with friends.
If you werent quite so bolshy and full of yourself you could enjoy such similar pleasent interactions. Beats drinking on your own, just saying oh friendless one.

berni, as im sure you know in business its not what your earning thats always crucial its what you do with what you've got, especially when you have a huge cash pile that you are actually adding to despite the slowdown in the sector.
Its the expenditure and costs that you occur being minimalised thats important. Mikey is by far the best in the business at this.
Mikeys last figures confirmed an additional 100me were added to the cash pile, whereas ezj announced a £700m draw from theirs for example - clearly they are not the same, might be in the same sector but one is clearly doing substantially better than the other.
Dont really need to elaborate on IAG woes, they are plain to see for all but rya hater douggie.

He does appear to have had his 69 (%) post removed now for some reason?, perhaps even lse are getting fed up with his nonsense.
One thing i will say though is that our dear unknowledgable friend does seem to enjoy numbers in the 6-9 range. Maybe he needs an extra few fingers to count any higher.

Im always making a tit of myself so id not worry about it, plenty of others do much worse than the pair of us eh, anyway its always good to have an extra skill i find :)
Yeah still holding my rdsb, obviously wish id sold up precovid and bought back but didnt thats the way it goes sometimes. Am a longtermer though as you say rather than a trader so i will ride the ripples and not lose any sleep over it. I won a much better prize by beating the big C with poor odds and consequently learnt that your health is always the greatest asset or investment you can ever hope to have other than family. Everything else pales into insignificance.
Had 4 BTL's originally a few years ago all 100% paid for, now down to the last one the sale of which oddly completes at the end of next week, so shall have a pretty decent amount of new cash to put somewhere else, am tempted with Rdsb/Bp and possibly NG/UU but still researching, may put another floor on the house i live in, dont know for sure yet and still sorting with mrs Dtn.
Got sick of the hassle with BTL's to be honest, too much regulation restrictions and tenant nonsense so started to work my way out of them. Better to keep life simples as the meercats say.
Dont go on the Glen board much these days, have met up a few times and had a few weekends away etc with half a dozen of the guys from there, we mainly use a private forum thesedays. Even the once great Glen has a few troublemakers, so most of the decent posters from there have swopped ship and communicate privately now, shame but it doesnt take many nutjobs to ruin things.
Anyway, you take care, keep wearing those heels and multicolour for the nails :)

Jed is pretty much on the money, maybe time to stop banging the head on the wall as the only result is a headache and no tangible reward. Do appreciate the frustration mind having tried the same right thing myself with mr doom monger. Just not worth giving yourself the grief trust me.

berni, ezj results just confirm ezj is in the smelly stuff. Supposition assumes the rest of the sector is but thats not actually confirmed. All clearly suffering but not neccasarily in the same smelly stuff. Last time around Mikeys cash PILE went up.
