It was a bit of a giggle doing that wasnt it. I ran two Citroen Berlingos single tank on it and used to strip the shelves each time we went shopping and drove past the fuel station smiling. Of course no Citroen was supposed to technically run on it due to the viscosity and the Lucas pumps but they did if you were sensible lol.
Only stopped because of a BBC news article going massive on the tv about everybody in Cardiff doing the same thing - all the supermarkets wacked the price upto £1.20 overnight.

i agree with you Pete, some mad people out there that think a share price will just keep going up, fact is they cannot forever. One of the toughest calls in many areas of life is knowing when enough is enough, shares are no different but the greed monster often takes over and clouds sensible judgments.

Lolm, i remember Birmingham university talking about a prototype hydrogen fuel install they had designed for a car when i was 18, im 52 now and still waiting to see it in action. Maybe for buses, lorries etc there is a use, but nothing smaller. Fully biodiesel however (i ran an old car on waste oil for several years a decade or so back) is what id consider the way forward and 101% possible now, with no special tech needed, lots of lorries use it already.

i shall let you know how the first one ive ever had goes. Thought id best this year all things considered, dont fancy having to show flu the heave-ho as well, running short of my nine lives lol.

i have given up watching the news re figures now, its rather sad to see them rise each day but i am not surprised given all the idiots out there.
Just been in the doctors to get my flu jab (will be ill tomorrow now i bet lol) and even in there people either didnt have a mask on, or had it just over their mouth, surgery staff saying nothing!
I do have a working theory though that our clueless friend has been contracted to add up the case numbers at weekends, those normally being so low and obviously incorrect, such a role would suit perfectly.

positive territory i see, not surprised after yesterdays hop up to see a flat day, higher highs and higher lows is a good trend to see from the worlds best low coast carrier.

You will notice of course that the usual good service continues despite one or two disruptive passengers being aboard currently.. That is the problem with courting 'lesser quality' passengers with such temptingly industry low prices. As well as the well to do who Erv points out regularly use rya, low prices often also unfortunately attract the riff raff.

Mikey will certainly be taking his well deserved bonus at 20e a lot sooner than the doomsters predicting the end of the industry till the next millenium would suggest. As for the fancifull 'predictions' of such trivial sp's i recon if uncle mikey had a rumage down the backs of each of his paid for seats he'd find enough income there to prove those predictions as ridiculus as they sound to non bigoted folk to wrapped up in their own hatred of all things rya.
Would be interesting to see the uptick in LF for the flights to the canaries now the quarantine has been lifted there, always a popular destination for a bit of winter sun - even though some of the residents come across as a tad unfriendly.

Saga certainly enjoyed a bit of a spike this month 20 odd pence upto 140 overnight for some reason, dont know anything about them but might have missed the biggy there?

The superfast chargers are impossible to install at home too, theres a limit to the amount of juice you can pull via a domestic supply.
Our local council has a few chargers (that my f*ing tax has paid to install) that you can use but they charge £0.30/kw. Cheeky barstewards thats at least 50% more than the domestic cost per kw. Large users (such as the council) can negiotiate their bills in bulk via the suppliers markets. My employer, probably the heaviest user of juice in the SW, pay £0.05p/kw. Ripoff all round.

i do worry about this as well billy, am an investor rather than a trader as such.
Balloons pop to easily, so my approach to such shares is to have a dabble for a bit of fun, if they rise substantialy i then remove my original stake, leaving 'freebies' behind. Reduces the upside gain potential but completely eliminates any loss of my capital.

i had a small punt in Nova too Pete, made a few quid then picked up two tranches of Sng, thanks to breathe, some at 70p and lots more at 160. Still hang onto those for a good while yet i think.

bloody right pete, just a couple of thousand in at 6p would be a life changing retirement pot now. Just doesnt seem to stop rising, barmy really but the stuff of dreams for some lucky buggers :)

i think they will keep sliding a few pence a day as well for a while Pete, difficult to get off a ski run halfway down sometimes, but get off it they will one day and that'll be the time to buy for a few years hold for great CG.

i actually enjoy both of their contributions to the board. I enjoy stand up comedy, seen most of the people on Mock the Week live and the comments on here make me chuckle without even leaving the house, all for the bargain ticket price of £0.
I do see our learned industry 'expert' is now 'predicting' BOO to soon hit £5, and also notice that he has wound his neck in a little recently with his 8e rya predictions, am just quietly,waiting for his next batch of jokes to be prattled out.
Whilst i shall miss RF's comedy posts while he takes care of the family troubles (which i wish him well with), i wont miss the spite that comes embedded within them.
The best outcome for me will be to see king Mikey continue to shoot up northwards, leaving the derampers eating humble pie :)
