I would suggest it may be down to the impending 'winter'season where airlines generally do struggle and make less revenue due to demand. Although my own view is that this year that may well prove different, especially after the testing relaxations. Its why i posted the september numbers last week, will do the same for October once announced and see what they indicate.

You will have noticed I assume that on BOO i call out a ramper on there called Uncle Doug, he has tried repeatedly to sucker a load of people into that company, ramping away "450 next week" styley. People like that cost people their hard earned cash and that annoys me - so i call him out.

Said id come back about the XO trading platform and my thoughts a week or two back.
Dont like it, is the short answer.
Have now lodged a couple of certificates, fairly typical process in setting up the security and account questions etc etc, no issues with any of that.
Good prompt customer service when i called them up to check id done it all correctly.
But (after HL) i find the web platform itself quite 'messy' and not the easiest platform to see where your position is. On HL everything is pretty much on the one page with a few tabs to click around, the XO platform is nowhere near as slick and doesnt present the basic information to you clearly on minimal screens.
With HL continuing not to allow certificate lodging i'll use the XO one to do just that, then the plan is to transfer across to HL electronically - purely for the simplicity of its clear presentation.
Shame really because XO are far cheaper in fees and HL customer service has declined, but i prefer their platform by far.
