Fleccy, far play to you, do the same myself limited stocks in big amounts. biggest value holding rdsb currently (cant remember figure without logging into Hl), second biggest is Glen with just over 85k shares, then BP, RYA, CEY, LLOY, TGA and a few smaller ones. Pf value, again without logging in, circa 850k.

Much better to give the full picture when quoting holdings, rather than just edited highlights to make things sound better, but appreciate the clarification on overall position as 'down'.
That may explain some of the absolute positivity.
As already stated, i Do agree on a 'paper' hold not being a loss or a gain until its realised.

Shall keep my eye on BT, but like Toff, i think this one is sadly not good value just at the moment, will reconsider if it gets closer to the 130 area.

Show me a post where I've given financial advice, all I've ever done is expressed my opinion and been honest about my investments. You're correct, I am currently down on BT with my break even price around 196p. When the price recently hit 205p I was well in profit, and I'm sure I will be again at some point.

Now you tell us this.

Im not interested in daily flight prices, they change by the second based on demand for each individual planeful, as you well know from your 'profession', so irrelevent to the sp.
What matters on low costers is VOLUME and Mikey carries them, and COSTS which Mikey is ruthless on, as his figures show. He has the best business model in the industry, why the market rates rya so highly, and the customer keep coming back for more.
Your just sore and keep on knocking solely because your blinkered view of the business means you missed out on a 100% capital rise.
A very poor (not just financially) way to invest and make money.

I agree with Fruit, the current sp and decline is still not where it needs to be as yet for a compelling investment, i'll continue to monitor. But those in at, say the 200 area are going to be waiting underwater for quite a while before they see any returns. Im glad i bought rya just over 9 and have capital increase rather than thendecline here.
At the end of the day, as an invester, all that matters is the sp when you buy it, and then consequently sell it, need to preserve your capital, a declining share isnt worth holding.
Once this hits the bottom, it might be worth entering, but not there just yet says the market.

Clued, cheers, appreciate thats caused todays drop but its just one day after the next it seems this last few weeks. Am quite surprised for such a big in demand teleco.
