Absolutely right Fp, love em or not Ryanair are a goliath of an airline, aptly illustrated by the 10% increase in bums on seats in the latest numbers.
All this current ticket cost pressure isnt going to do any longterm harm either - it will be affecting all airlines, and as Rya are financially far far better placed to absorb this for a while, whilst others are not, its likely to drive pax numbers even higher & even faster in the future, to competitors building disadvantage. Wouldnt be surprised to see a few others go to the wall.
Unfortunately there are muppets around like Doug with a big chip on their shoulders who do nothing but try to run them down, his assured 'prediction' of bankruptcy in 2021 was a pearler, only beaten by his 'prediction' of a sp of 6pence around the same time.
Think they must have lost his bag with his favourite teddy bear in it or something once.
Nobody has to like a company to see its strengths as an investment, but only a fool like doomster totally rules out investing because of a lost teddy and sheer bloodymindedness and stupidity.
