Well the usual story, some up and some down.
Copper production down 15% (not good), gold/silver down 21%.
Coal up 14% due to taking full mine ownership, otherwise a 0.5% fall on like/like basis (not good). Further news on flooding in coal pits in Australia not factored into figures yet! (poor)
Oil up 22%, which may just save the day.
Still suggesting good finances overall, obviously due to unit prices.
Mixed bag imv, im thinking weighted slightly negative, see what the market says.

Couldnt agree more MPO, too many people in the uk just stick their hands out and empty other peoples pockets expecting others to pay for their way in life. You know the ones he bought above his claimed purchase of 40p, that strangely never lifted his supposed 40p buy in price that he carps on about.
Averaging down in reality, well thats what the rest of us that can count call it.

Quite clear that the entrenched reluctance to properly reward shareholders with a decent divi is whats holding this back. People want cash in their pockets to spend as they choose not more of the same buyback nonsense.
Great results otherwise but going nowhere until the barmy divi policy is changed.
