Agree Billy, Glens always been a good trading stock, me i tend to goolie it up when i try, and im a buy and hold investor really so tend to have that focus in mind although i do at least dabble in trading a bit more these days.
Current trading practise is to buy in, then when a decent profit made, take the stake out and run the freebies. Protects the capital, keeps the interest up and removes all the risk. Have a bunch of various freebies now, playing about with wizz and nvidia currently.
All the Glens i ditched were in my fund/share accounts - also dodges the potential grief with the 'capital return' or 'divi' tax treatment. Bloody nightname with these incompetent clowns in charge though as you say, so personally not doing a lot.
