Given the potential politics, and the company currently digging itself out of a right mess, I suspect investors would have preferred a CEO with plenty of grit and proven experience at that level. This is still a significant promotion for Lauren even though she has a fairly solid background in beauty. That apart, I obviously wish her well and trust she can learn fast and be canny and tough when necessary.
Nice to see ECO having a good day. I'm not sure hoe they are going to interest majors when Tullow tried unsuccessfully about three years to do just that. Also the question remains as to why Total/QP didn't want control forloose change. Farm ins are very hard to come by these days, so hopefully Orinduik doesn't become a white elephant.
In the circumstances the last thing REVB needs is a share-rich but hostile former CEO/founder causing trouble. I’m glad he still has that sense of pride and positivity about the company - and presumably wants it to succeed. He must know whatever comes his way from the investigation etc is purely his own fault.
