I just took a look at the last few days of trading, practially all sells and at 1-2m a day. This was once the darling of the share chat board (55 pages of comments!) but no longer, how the company has fallen on hard times. That it needs to raise further capital will put a hold on any possible share price increase I think, and I can see why selling is still going on despite the historic low share price. I took a 17% loss on these after costs back in November, good call in hindsight as I'd now be down 50%, one to avoid for the time being unfortunately.

Must be foreign surely. He doesn't realise that it just isn't cricket to talk about cash profits. Puts him in the 'Oh I have more money than you' pile of old bollocks (sorry admin, delete that word if you must).

Whoever the well timed buyer was at 08:09 this morning that picked up 1000 shares at 501p has done well, last sell was at 536p close to a 7% gain from that price.

WTF did you get that idea from? I've never made a comment re SOLA until it was above 400p, it's not a stock I'd even followed until making a punt on it at the beginning of January. Talk it up all you want. If you don't want to read anyone suggesting caution then don't read this forum.

Did you switch out of FEP and into SEO then? Not a bad short term move at least, SEO up and FEP down...

5997.56% rise in this share today :) Oh if only it were true. I presume it must be a share consolidation. But if it was a real increase and you'd stuck £10K in yesterday it would mean you could take a happy and wealthy retirement today.

Until today there has been very little activity, although the 900K shares sold this morning are showing as delayed transactions so could be the cause of yesterdays drop of 1p. The market makers have marked these down a penny every now and again on zero trades, or just one or two small sells. Basically they don't want the stock. Risky even at these levels, I'm being quoted 15.5-19.5p. A £5000 buy now followed by a sell would return roughtly £3940 after costs, a drop of 21.2%. That's a lot to make up on a share continuing to drift, no matter what the price. The market capitalisation is now just £4.83m, I think it could go lower and would want to see the makings of a serious rise before investing here again.

For all you holders out there I hope that this is just a bit of profit taking and not the drop I've long suspected. Bid 562p at opening yesterday to 522p at opening today is not too much of a drop considering how the shares have performed. I advised caution on this one since they were floated at 80p in August and had gone up seven fold since then, mainly on the back of expansion plans and projected earnings. No doubt part of the price rise can also be attibuted to the 'green' credentials of SOLA, and I did take a small punt on the company at just above 410p for a small profit. Weakness in the share may well be a buying opportunity, but if the company fails to deliver the vast expansion expected of it we could see a substantially lower SP. This is by no means the guaranteed profit some might have you believe. I'm not saying avoid completely, but don't chase it, if you must then buy on weakness.

This company is taking so long to sort out a joint venture. It's a pain in the arse having money tied up in it for so long. I'm probably more thinly spread than you, I generally stick £3K in each share although have doubled up on a couple where the price has dropped. I still have high hopes for FEP but might well halve my holding if nothing happens in the next month or two.

The Times reports that RBS has agreed to increase the banking facility to TRX by between £20m and £30m with an announcement expected this week. This is supposedly for 6 months to give the company time to sort itself out and the belief of RBS that TRX is a viable business. At last a small ray of hope for the beleagured shareholders then?

Next year end is 31st March, next interims not until the 30th August though, long wait I'm afraid. The forecast is that the company won't be in profit until 2008. Bit of a punt for the time being, impossible to call really. There is a good chance that speculators will pile in from time to time on news of a new deal, increased supply or speculative takeover. However it's judging the bottom before any such rise that's the issue. If they drop to say 160p they might only bounce back to where they are now, if at all. Long term more likely to make money I would think, if you can hold on and don't need the cash.

No surprise here then, ATEL down 28% today. Smells of a classic pump and dump exercise, get a few guilable PIs to buy shares, sell yours at the top then watch the price drop. Bugger all volume so the MMs have made a killing. Come to think of it, it's more of a pump and don't dump. Hmm.

It sure has flown, being quoted 61-62 on trading so don't worry about the displayed spread, it's quite competitive when you actually trade.

Lol, I've picked enough duffers lately so it's nice to see this one going well at least. Anyone in around the 28-30p level is doing nicely, up 30% or so. I should have topped up when we were near the bottom, but there we go. Will run with it a little longer methinks. Not sure if we'll get back to the 50s until the company recovery is well on the way. Good profits if you were in at the right time though. Considering buying more SEO again now. Hmmm...

Now being quoted 0.35-0.39, and at the head of the LSE top 30 risers.

From where do you get those figures? Last I read they'd made $5US for the quarter to June 06. Lets call it £3m. Say £12m for the year plus expansion, perhaps £20m to end 2006? Current SP values the company at £574m (100m shares in issue), which on £20m gives a P/E of 28.7. Future P/Es are based on projected income and profits, the prelims at the end of this month might at least give an indication of how well the expansion is going. If the figures don't meet or exceed expectations the fall will likely be hefty. The higher it goes the greater the risk.

Small rise in ARM this morning, level 2 showing 8-3!

Just had a report of the 35th consecutive movement up in share price for CWP! Now 625-630.

Buy on the 23rd Jan at 23.36p, sell on the 8th Feb at 48.25p, not far off. There was a buy of 25000 and a sell of 25000 relating to those two dates and prices, could be your good friend? Probably more like 100% after costs though.

It's been a while since seeing much activity in FEP, but we have a rise today. Low volume so far and not that many trades, less buys than sells but almost as many at the mid price (ie not clear which they were) but probably mostly buys as the SP is up. Currently 66.5-67p, do we finally have some news on the way? PVR? Market cap is nearly £107m and we're only seeing trades of £10K, which aren't having any effect on the SP, which has been pretty much static since the 19th Jan. Fairly thinly traded share, 10 or so trades a day. It does not look like there's enough activity to me to suggest any news on the way.
