False build up of excitement21 Jul 2020 10:18
After the hype of yesterday, I've been mulling on this. There are some obvious points to make now that we're not in the heat of the moment:
1) @mousekateer (and others) are right: price sensitive news is released via RNS. Perhaps some people were expecting Vlad to be sitting with an Eli Lilly exec, discussing the takeover price.
2) Vlad is a scientist. If it's just him presenting, it's going to have an amateurish feel. I kind of like that! The fact that only 100 people could watch is also frustrating and I feel for those who couldn't get a spot. They need to fix this.
3) There were plenty of people looking for a quick buck, not the LTH like many of us on here.
4) Vlad is clearly frustrated at the delays to their work. This is a very determined individual on a mission, who has convinved big pharma to work with them.
5) There are many work streams, it's not (nor ever has been) a pure Covid play.
Of course the Hemo SP has frustrated us all at times, but this remains a hold - with the risks we should all understand - and they just need to be able to continue their work.
Dave.
PS Off-topic post, just finished watching Season One of "The Boys" on Prime. Brilliant :-)
