The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
It is Yuan not Dollars, BH spent a few million pounds on Fruitflow since 2015.
I have read the Implementation Rules document, it does not specify the time frame of approval, but given the work (pre-launch trials and report which are required by the Rules) done by BH, I expect it will be approved very soon and BH needs this to drive its growth.
sorry, fat fingers, posted too early
they used XINLUOSU Tablet in this trial, which I think it will be the name of product that launched by BH in the future
BH is promoting fruitflow as QINGLUOSU in Chinese.

Apologies if posted before, the Chinese CBEC seems to be live now, the website looks a bit odd though

hi DP, facebook/instagram are banned in China .
Sorry Gixer , I can't tell, his address does not associate with any other company at all. I used a paid app which is a bit like companies house in the UK but can't find more info on him. Will keep looking and post an update if there is any.
I managed to find out the name of the director, his registered residential address is Shenzhen the city adjacent to Hong Kong, yet can't find more information on him through various sources.
Could be OCD investors rounding up their holdings :)
Same thought here, could be LIFE-SAPCE Australia which was taken over by By-Health 2 years ago? Life space already has official Tmall/JD shops, this is in line with yesterdays RNS "Distributor will then market and sell Fruitflow+ Omega-3 in China through its existing network of e-commerce and other sales channels." however, this company has been focusing on probiotic products.
Also, as Fruitflow will probably be granted blue cap by addressing Hypertension, it would make sense to have other non-blue hat products that contain fruitflow but claiming different benefits.
Hi Sock, below is the link of the government portal you can search for products with blue hat approval, however, i am afraid that it is only in Chinese and it is not very informative tbh, I did a search by using the keyword "blood pressure", there are around 150 results and I could not see any by-health product

I don't think they will get total exclusivity in China, even they do, they will have to pay good money for it, don't forget DSM is still in the mix, I am sure they will maximize their return in Fruitflow as much as possible
hi Sock, apologies for the late reply
You need to go to their Tmall or Jd store to see the full range of products, in fact, I am not aware of their operation in the UK, can't see any oversea income in their annual report

one more thing to add, Byhealth is not the only client we have. If Fruitflow is promoted heavily by such a giant, more companies will jump on the Fruitflow wagon.
blue hat normally takes 3 years to be granted, each submission cost 60k to 100k (over 500k on some cases) By health currently have around 200 sku and 140 are blue hatted, they are definitely the know how company in terms of getting the blue hat status. My guess is that 2 years will be sufficient for them to put a blue hat on Fruitflow products, hence Q1 next year we should see some significant progresses.
The turnover of By health last year was 5.2B RMB (£580 MILLION) with gross margin of 67%, 200 SKU will give each products £2.9M of annual sales, if Byhealth launch 8 products containing Fruitflow, they are paying 8*2.9*0.33=£7.66 m to DSM, if the profit share between DSM and PXS is 70/30, revenue for PXS will be £2.3 m(Multiple of current sales of 450k), PXS gross profit margin was 90% (according to audited account ended 30 Sep 2019), £2.3m *0.9- 800k(R&D, Admin and distribution cost)= £1.3M in profit, work on the PE of 30, our market cap should be £39M while the current Market cap is £14M. So when people saying we are heading towards 0.35p, please advise your thoughts behind that.
I hold a few millions of shares in PXS and am willing to wait for another 10 years as i think Fruitflow will benefit millions of people, in fact i have more faith in PXS than the 3 companies i am running at the moment :)

will try to connect with him on Linkedin :)
Dr Felix Zhang was involved in the invention of Fruitflow, now he is one of the directors of By Health, interesting

Hi Sock, yes, I am Chinese. Majority of the Chinese population prefer natural supplements over drugs, health care products has been one of fastest-growing sectors in China, back in 2013, the market was worth 99 billion RMB (£11b ), but in 2019, the sales of health care products was 227 billion RMB(£25 B), the market has grown by more than double, on average, each Chinese spent roughly £180 on health care products every year, the heart health products are among the top 8 categories(sorry i dont have a sales figure for this), the top 3 players are Infinitus (the owner of walkie talkie building in London), Amway and BY -Health, By-health accounts for 6.1% market share and their main sales channel are pharmacy stores and online portals, currently there are 450,000 pharmacy stores across the country, I have been to many big or small cities and I can see by-health products listed in almost every pharmacy store.
While I am very excited about the connection with COFCO, my money is on BY-health, I seem to remember that BY-HEALTH has spent mulit million RMB on Fruitflow, I do believe Fruitflow is a very strong supplement to their heart health products range as they only have 5 products (http://www.by-health.com/en/heart) under this category. I strongly believe that by-health will focus on marketing the benefit of helping people with hypertension(270 million people are suffering from hypertension in China ), hypertension is also the only area that Fruitflow can be granted blue hat. Timeframe wise, it normally takes 3 years for a blue cap application to be granted but the EFSA approval should help to reduce the time, DSM and By health signed the deal back in sep 2018, I truly believe that 2021 will be our long waiting transformational year .
hi Sock, as majority of Chinese does not speak or read English, it will make sense to give it a Chinese name in order to market the product

soy & goat milk powder is relatively new concept in china, the market size of goat milk powder for adult is only 7 billion RMB (800 million GBP equivalent) in china in 2019 with annual growth of about 20%, so it is still a niche market in chinese terms. COFCO is one of the most trusted companies in china, their business pretty much cover every aspect of day to day life, real estate, meat, wine and spirit, agricultural products, biotech and also the biggest milk company in china, they own 13 public listed companies, the product gixer found is marketed by one of these 13 companies. Their products are literally everywhere in china, majority of supermarkets, mega stores or pharmacy stores do give sizable space for nutritional products like these, it can be available at a lot of places within a short period of time. Their online channel is also strong as they have stores set up in both TMALL and JD.com (these two are the chinese version of Amazon, every chinese use one or the other in their daily life). I guess what i am trying to say here is that the sales channels are there and it is down to whether the company want to give it a big push. however, i personally don't think this product will be a massive seller and hard to put down a number but the connection with COFCO makes me very excited.
in addtion, below is anther product that is currently available in the chinese market,i am sure gixer has already covered this before but just want to point out that the company behind this product is also a big company

tried to zoom in the pictures on the website but still can't see the ingredients clearly, anyway, I believe they will put down ??? as this is what they brand Fruitflow in China.
Again, very excited about Fruitflow is adopted by COFCO, massive household name in China
