Lostinfrance,
Just look at my posts for the last 7 years and you will see that my posts are varied and questioning.
Further , If you think that any post you write on here will have an impact on the share price then you are deluded.
We need a takeover offer or some news from SM management detailing a forecast to profitability.
That is what will shift the current share price.
Is that $11 a monthly payment?
Does not seem very much for all those years of costly development.
I think they will drop the price this morning, get the stock in cheap, then push it back up this afternoon.
This looks like an exact repeat of last Friday!
Unfortunately, that did not finish too well.
There is nothing on the Petrofac financial calendar on the PFC website. So it is unclear.
With Brent Crude across the $80 barrel, inflation starting to recede, big deals in the bag, and the intraday share price chart looking strong ,surely we will get that 3pm rise today.
The MM's keeping trying the rapid 1p drop in the bid price to scare/panic investors to sell.
Hold on and keep a cool head. The MM's need your shares!
Always good for a boost in share prices when inflation falls more than expected.
CNBC say
"European stocks are heading for a higher open on Wednesday, after U.K. inflation came in cooler than expected."
The likelihood of entering the 80's today is on the cards. Lots of continued positives is increasing PFC momentum.
How can PMG be so out of touch with these RFQs.
Has he not had discussions with his counterpart OEM CEOs over the past two years.
And where is the Qualcomm revenue?
Jan 2020 you were all wetting yourselves on here about Qualcomm.
Praise PMG when he delivers shareholder value and nothing less. To me, that is at 15 pence to start
Why are there no takeover offers at this ridiculous share price. An 100% premium would still be less than 11 pence.
Shareholder value I don't think so .
So many missed deadlines, that is why we are here.
So what are we at bid 5.18 pence?
If all is fantastic.
He obviously has not got a clue about the share price either as he has been buying from just over 7p down to here! Otherwise, he would have waited until now.
The only consolation is that he does want the share price to move upwards, and he believes it will, otherwise he would not have made all those purchases..He just does not know when!
PMG obviously has no clue either otherwise he would have advised his mate to wait.
Does that mean Ford will want to cut the price they pay for each car that uses SM DMS?
How much do they pay per car at the moment ?
The market at the moment is the private investors. Low daily volumes, no liquidity, a paradise for the market market to manipulate the spread and take advantage of a weak market .
When the end of year trading update is issued it needs to contain a forecast to profitability. A positive outlook . The company also needs to get it's broker to issue a positive , uplifting forecast, otherwise, what is the point of having Stifel on the team.
And I think it is that momentum that is building through the continual signing of projects that will eventually show in the share price.
Just another deal to add to the long list of successes for Petrofac. The cork had got to pop soon. Let us hope this week , we get the deserved upward move in the share price.
Petrofac is still very undervalued.
Brent Crude is above $80 a barrel.
There is usually a positive correlation with the price of oil and oil 'support' companies.
All bodes well.
"The General Safety Regulation (GSR) is a regulation that sets mandatory safety requirements for new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles sold in the European Union (EU). The purpose of the regulation is to improve the safety of vehicles and reduce the number of accidents and fatalities on European roads. This includes a requirement for vehicles to be equipped with systems to detect driver distraction and drowsiness and is set to come into effect in 2024.
The implementation of DMS in vehicles is a significant step towards reducing the number of accidents caused by driver distraction or fatigue. The GSR requires all new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles sold in the European Union to have a DMS installed by 2024, with the aim of improving safety on the roads and reducing the number of fatalities and injuries resulting from accidents caused by driver inattention. Meeting the safety requirements outlined in the GSR is critical for ensuring the safety of vehicles and reducing the number of accidents and fatalities on European roads."

The valuation of companies on the London Stock Exchange is becoming a joke.
On the one hand you are getting ridiculous over valued start ups. One man selling pork pies on his bicycle gets valued as a potential unicorn . Whereas, a long established business, in a process if revival, such as Petrofac , is grossly undervalued. And further, various forces such as shorters, hedge funds, and the market makers can run riot, in the name of natural market forces. And now the FCA are quite happy for this to continue.
What do you do as a Private investor?
What we are in, or what we are not in, does seem a pointless discussion at the moment.
There are one billion or more shares owned by private investors, and you can see by the drifting share price, some are starting to sell.
If these RFQ's and other outstanding news does not start to emerge imminently , and the PR does not prove, then we are going to have a long wait for a decent share price.
If it were not for the Institutional investors holding their position then the situation could be much worst.
I am also hoping that some of the increased car sales will come through soon in the key Performance Indicators.
If we do not start to get some positive spin from the SM management soon, then i am not sure where the share price is going.
