maybe that one particular deal might be good value, you'd have to put a gun to my head to eat a tesco sandwich so i wouldnt know if that was good value but other things arent for example i saw doritoes massively overpriced without a card and then brought back in line with a clubcard. I could sell you a £10 note and say its £50 without a clubcard or a £10er with one it doesnt mean youre saving £40. The fact is people are shopping elsewhere, the customer isnt seeing value in the clubcard so are spending money elsewhere hence the share price! If they did away with the clubcard I would use tesco more and I know many others that feel the same, people dont want to sign up to something to not get ripped off on their shopping bill when they can go elsewhere. The shareprice doesnt lie
