CYP2C19 is a really exciting test because is application could be, as you say, beyond Ischaemic stroke (IS). We haven't restricted our performance claim to just IS - the claim of the test is to determine someone's CYP2C19 metaboliser status. Clinicians will be able to use it where the literature and clinical guidelines support using that information. The NICE review is focussed on stroke and clopidogrel, but other cardiovascular related diseases are interesting too.

We are very pleased that NICE has recommended that CYP2C19 genotyping should be used before Clopidogrel administration in the management of ischemic stroke (“IS”) patients. The review is a massive ~400 page document and you need to read beyond the headlines to see the insight. The comment that the genedrive test should be used for research is because it’s not yet launched and so we can’t yet provide final performance data from its registration. It’s obvious once you say it, but NICE can’t recommend something for clinical use that isn’t even registered yet for clinical use. Our test was the most cost effective testing solution for all scenarios compared to lab based or other POC solutions. There is a lot of good detail and conclusions in the full report. As we are anticipating UKCA marking of the Genedrive® CYP2C19 ID test prior to NICE’s final report, we are engaged with NICE to incorporate the data for the final report in October.

This is a positive NICE conclusion and really good for the future adoption of CYP2C19 testing. The only poor outcome would have been that CYP2C19 testing was wither not effective or value added.

I think most of you have interpreted the RNSs as we would have intended. The primary and most important thing is the company, subject to shareholder approval, is funded. In the background, the BOD does recognise the impact of different funding types on share price and liquidity and the sentiment of existing holders.

In regards to the details, it’s fine and appropriate to discuss the merits of this term or that clause, but finance deals must be evaluated in their totality. You also don’t have the ability to compare the individual elements of this facility with other options. Our company currently enjoys a high level of daily liquidly, good potential newsflow ahead and products with a positive impact, and that contributes to our belief that this is an attractive and appropriate funding option for our company at this time. Consequently we will ask shareholders to support it at a general meeting.

The facility was announced end of day because (i) the closing share price was relevant to some of the facility's metrics (ii) we wanted you to have time to digest the details and (iii) that's when we reached final agreement. We also wanted financial results released at the same time because it gives context to read them together.

Well, that was quite a dynamic trading day on AIM, driven by the reams of positive news coverage surrounding the NICE recommendation for RNR1.

This is my second time posting on LSE and similar to last time can’t/won’t be replying further, but wanted to thank the LTHs (who know who you are) on the LSE board for their support and patience to reach this point. On some days, the path isn’t always straight for us, as we’re doing things that have never been done before. We are the first company in the world to deliver point of care genetic testing to emergency care, the first Dx product through NICE EVA, and because of these we’ve been the first to tick off a lot of process and product development boxes to get to today. The team here in Manchester have done great entrepreneurial work, and investors in the company should be proud of this milestone and what were building together.

This just a 1-time post to say “Hello” and thank-you for your interest our company. Advisors, PR Co, etc generally not too happy with spontaneous CEO posts, so nothing more will forthcoming from me. I’ve been catching up this afternoon on your spirited discussion here over the past few weeks. Sorry we haven’t pleased everyone. I know making everyone happy is often difficult, and sometimes not possible. We do genuinely try our best.

I don’t check in here very often – would be hard on my mental health I fear. A few well informed and well considered posters on here, and a few absolute nutters apparently too, but you know that already.

I would like to thank our LTHs for their support and belief in what we’re doing. Exciting times.
