The online petition against the drill has 50,000 signatures....by default that must mean that of the 400,000 inhabitants of the Bahamas....350,000 aren't against the drill....

And they will unfurl some banners.....anything illegal will result in them being delayed and unable to head to the Bahamas....no delay expected in departure of Icemax.....port authority and Stena fully aware of RW.

Do you know the water depth there ?.......that would be a LONG anchor chain......

I reckon 10-11 days to get to drill location so it should be leaving early December, so two weeks time ? 12 trading days or so ?....

RW is 15 knots max speed, but cruise is 7 knots compared to 12 knots Icemax, not very 'green' is it burning all that fuel at max speed to the Bahamas even if they had the fuel tank capacity to run that far at max speed....tis merely a diversion from the business of oil exploration and extraction that is still very much needed in this world....

Expect a passive protest, a few banners, nothing illegal, then the Icemax will outrun the Warrior to the Bahamas. The drill will go ahead on time and as planned.

It’s due to arrive in field 15th December, just keep an eye on it on marinetraffic a week or so before...

It’s now a ‘small’ installation for cleaning the tiny amount of gas coming from 2 clogged wells, not the £16m GGSS talked about years ago, revenue will go up 33% if we don’t have to sell at a discount....big deal...
