Price is being delicately kept here to shift an overhang onto retail investors, making profits for institutional investors....all bouyed by hope and literally the prospect of black gold....avalanche of selling will happen in the three's and four's as folk take profits before the huge dump just before spud, which we all know is the sensible thing to do.....unfortunately this will keep the price pre-spud subdued....just hope there will be enough buyers, perhaps after payday Wednesday ?

I have to agree with you Irene, the numbers were in the realms of fantasy, even with a farm-in with a major, production is years not months away, the nature of this well is to come up with a 2P figure to add to the BPC balance sheet....that's what will add value for shareholders in the near future, not bopd.

it's not sea trials, it's Dynamic Positioning trials, standard stuff for Drillships prior to arriving at drilling location, you wouldn't want to arrive on site to find your DP isn't working....

Would love to think the DrillMax is sitting in defense, waiting to divert the Rainbow Worrier.....but the only rainbow i'm worried about is the one with a pot of black gold at the end of it in the Bahamas.....

Yeah two tugs taking IceMax out for DP trials, back in later, then depart next Thursday.....
