News can come any time and at least he has some “skin in the game” for a longer term investment.

You started this exercise in good faith in an attempt to gain some further information about overdue and pressing matters which have been in the public domain for many weeks.

The company have shown little loyalty to the long suffering private shareholders during the last few months. Why on earth would you want to show them any.

It seems clear to me that NM is still running the show behind the scenes and that the management’s cavalier attitude towards the release of important information is unlikely to help the share price over the next few days and weeks.

Appreciate the time you have taken to obtain some answers. Just sorry it seems to have been a waste of your energies and at the same time provided an opportunity to drive down the share price

Metom. I never understand how the FTSE has remained at around the 7000 level when the Dow has motored ahead rising 3/4 times as fast. Yet when there is any correction, we follow.

I understand that there have been some standout winners such as Netflix, Apple etc but even so we seem to be hit hardest on the way down.

Notwithstanding this, there looks like some excellent potential news flows RR in the months ahead.

Bubble - I look at the ADVN site to view trades. Seems to be pretty much up to date. Share price dropped to 27p due to a 202000 UT share trade at close.

Decent report put out by the company - Twice as many buys as sells yet price is marked down to just above 27p. MM’s filling an order and trying to take out some stop losse? . Can’t see any other reason

SOLG have been known to issue an RNS at times other than 7am. Not saying that they will, this time, but possibly worth waiting to see what happens today

There are merits to both of your persuasive arguments. However, for the sake of the other readers and contributors to this BB, including myself, are you not to resolve your differences in a less public manner - perhaps other forms of media - and then return when all differences have been settled between you.

I believe that we are about to enter one of the most exciting periods of Solg’s history, possibly its final few months of independance, and there may be more important issues to debate on this forum.

I can see, from both sides, and in the manner that you write, that you are very passionate about this company.

Very interested to hear about your prostate cancer journey. I received brachytherapy treatment in February 2020 which went very well. One night stay in hospital.

My PSA was only 5.6 which was quite low for someone aged 69. But I had cancer in my prostate. Completely agree that every make over 40/50 should get their PSA tested each year.

rcgl2 I appreciate that you believe that there is a strategy within the company. There are too many of the words “aiming” in your statement to make me believe that there is a defined strategy.

I hope it all works out for the LTH. I haven’t sold because I think it won’t work out as planned. I simply believe there is money to be made elsewhere whilst the directors rearrange the chairs and get their act together.

I have sold out now after 12 years. To drop from 30p to 25.15p in 72 hours makes no sense in the absence of no news and very low turnover. I have lost money here but I believe that there are better opportunities elsewhere in the market. Fell quite let down by the management in recent months. They seem to have no defined strategy and certainly little loyalty to long suffering shareholders.

Good luck to all the long term holders who are determined to see this through to production/takeover. I hope I am wrong, but you may have a long wait.

The placing/retail offer attracted support from a number of the directors. It will be interesting to see if we receive any holdings RNS, over the next few days & weeks, whilst the share price is now lower than the placing.

On 27th April the placing/retail offer at just under the current price was two and a half times oversubscribed. Yet here we are again with little turnover in the stock at a similar price. I know the markets are down today but surely this must be the bottom for the time being.

I know people are saying that now is a good time to buy but the directors really need to pull something out of the bag if this isn’t to drift further.

Been invested nearly 12 years now. About time shareholders got some of their loyalty rewarded with a bit of positive news

schlemiel - that is precisely why I wrote to Nick Mather a few days ago, only to receive a fairly underwhelming response. I have been here for nigh on 12 years now. It feels like death by RNS but I am holding on in the hope that something can come of the seemingly rich discoveries.

Whoever purchased that late reported 4m purchase got a very good price for the size of that deal compared to the after hours ones that preceded it

I have been invested here over 10 years.

I wrote to Nick Mather, a couple of days ago, expressing my concern that sentiment was again moving away from the company, perpetuated by a daily reduction in the share price with little or no communication coming out of the company. I also voiced my opinion that despite continuing to report significant resources, the company has not really gone anywhere in the last 5 years.

Give him his due, he wrote back as follows.

Look what has happened at Morrisons. Initial approach made by Fortress on May 4th yet no RNS from the company. The same could have happened here. I cannot believe that we haven’t been in preliminary talks with any number of suitors, given the potential here.
